Worst apartment I’ve ever lived in

Has got to be the worst apartment I’ve ever lived in only been here 9 months and have had many problems starting with my toilet overflowing and getting on the hardwood floors all the way to the bedrooms twice that happen even after I made a request and they said they fixed it my master closet light has been out since my 2nd month here and nobody has came to fix it yet. My ac unit has broken twice and in this hot weather and with a 8 month old you would think they would be more urgent but they... don’t care. Dishwasher has been leaking since I moved in I made multiple request maintenance finally came said they fixed it literally that same night it leaked again. Don’t even get me started on the washer that stinks like rotten eggs or the dryer that burned all my daughter blankets and our clothes and that’s just for the unit. For the area itself don’t even think about throwing out the trash unless your ready climb up a mountain of trash just build up or the fact that there is no emergency maintenance number or that you have to call the leasing office 10+ just for them to pick up. But guess what rent is going up again if I was to resign but for the amount of money you pay for all the bills your really just paying for the area

Downhill since Brookfield

Maintenance requests will take weeks or be flat out ignored. Parking is an issue due to allowing too many occupants per unit and allowing renters to use garages as storage units. Property is littered with trash and dumpster are regularly inoperaable resulting in mounds of trash accumulating. Numerous building fires while I lived here.

Had a roof leak so severe that a wall was saturated with water and ceiling had visible water stains. Was fixed by skim coating the wall and ceiling and...
repainting the wall with paint that didn't match. Was told I'd have to pay extra to paint the ceiling. Ended up painting it myself.

Parking lots are poorly lit, and it's not uncommon for a group of random men to be strolling through as you're exiting your vehicle.

During the warmer months the main road into the property becomes a walking trail for groups of adults. Children will regularly ride their bikes unatended with no regard to traffic creating a safety hazard.

Stacked washer/dryvers are 20+ years old and will take forever to dry clothes. Kitchen appliances are equally outdated.

I'd finally had enough when Brookfield attempted to raise my rent by $500/month. Steam cleaned carpets, repainted rooms, patched all holes in walls, completely cleaned the unit. Security deposit refund was not only denied, but I was billed an additional amount.

I toured the property with Brittney, she was super helpful and friendly. Knowledgeable about the property. The property was great, clean, quiet and nice. I would say there aren?t any sidewalks but that?s not a deal breaker for me.

I've lived here going on 18 years. The staff is friendly. Service requests are slower than when I moved here.
