Best Value in Town
I don't normally write reviews, but finding a good apartment can be so difficult that I had to share my fantastic experience at this complex. I lived here for almost a year, and if you are moving to the area, this is the place to be. The apartments are roomy, fairly (perhaps even generously) priced, dependable, and solid. Sure, it's not the newest apartment complex, but they are well-built, quiet, and comfortable. The real game changer at West Chester Place, however, is the landlord: Bill.
Over... the last decade, I've lived in half a dozen apartments in cities on both sides of the Atlantic, and Bill was the best landlord I've had. By far. I'm not a very technically inclined person, but he certainly is. Any time I had to place a work order/maintenance request, no matter how trivial, Bill was prompt and took care of it with ease and competence.
Furthermore, he took the time to get to know me, and not just me -- he's not the most outspoken person, but he is quite kind and friendly with residents in all the interactions I saw. He's on the property most days, working on preparing apartments for a new resident, or working to maintain this or that. I enjoyed running into him in the parking lot on my way out for groceries or the gym; his conversation was always intelligent and enjoyable. If you aren't the most social type, he respects that, too.
It may not be the flashiest, newest place, but it is absolutely the best value I have ever had in an apartment. So many complexes and agencies are flashy, but a hot mess to live in or get things repaired. Not here. Landlord and building alike are quiet, competent, and dependable. Both make living here easy, a stress-free home base for whatever life may bring.
