Management is very poor. Noise through floors and ceilings is extreme. Not enough parking spaces. Security gates are broken most of the time. Claim to be luxury but are actually run of the mill. Management often sends reminders on rules of the complex with threats of demerits, but doesn't follow through making the rules meaningless. I wanted to like it but certainly not worth the price. I lived there for 3 years. so happy no longer residing at Crown Village at Elm Ridge.

Application process too slow and not clear
Worst experience trying to rent an apartment. They have so many requirements to only have “perfect residents” that even having everything they ask for you just get tired in the process had to drive to the office like 3 times. Thank God I was able to cancel the applications in 24 hours to get a refound even though it takes 30 days. Completely waste of time, Renting an apartment usually is fast and clear. This people will try to get you The highest price even if you see a cheaper price online. I... had to send a screenshot of the price for them to actually give me the price they offer online. I’m really disappointed since I really liked the apartments but really got tired in the process of getting it.

Love everything except thin floors/ceilings
We came from home living and decided on an apartment for a year. We have loved everything about the complex, except the thinness of the floors/ceilings. We were told this is the norm for "apartment-living". However, why do hotels have very sound floors/ceilings, you never hear a sound from those above, nor do you worry about those below you. I find this discouraging in either this particular builder (or any apartment builder if this is common). We hardly hear our neighbors on the back wall, and... don't share bedroom walls as we're on the end, so I can't speak to this. From what I've noticed, the majority of tenants are nice and considerate, so they try to be conscience of this flooring sound issues. I love the walking areas and how nice everything looks. Dog poop can be an issue, but that's a resident problem, not management. I think management tries to stay on top of this though, because it doesn't stay long. The storage is nice, and I like the size of the balconies. I like the gym as it's well equipped. The pools are wonderful also. They even have very shallow areas for toddlers, then 3 foot for young children who aren't fully swimming independently. The staff is usually very friendly and helpful. I like that there is additional laundry on site if needed. We've had no security issues and feel very safe. As much as there are many benefits, due to the sound issues, unless we can get a villa (where no once would be above or below us), we will not stay as this is a challenge for our young child.

Look elsewhere
We lived in these apartments for almost 4 years and progressively saw the management staff get worse and worse. Here are some issues that have been a consistent issues and I would STRONGLY advise you to reconsider before moving in: *The gates are ALWAYS broken. ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS. *There are letters on the most trivial events, issues, information, ect... left on your door. *There are more and more break ins into your vehicles. *Dog poop is EVERYWHERE! It smells during the summer. *Fleas are... a terrible, terrible issue. We saw them spray the grounds twice the entire time we lived there. We have fought fleas since the second we moved in. *Ants, ants, and more ants. *Their remoteness entry is a joke. The door shuts behind you automatically and if you get locked out, it is a $75.00 fee. *There is only 1 trash compactor at the front of the building. Often trash is left outside of the compactor. *When we first moved there, Tabitha was the manager and she was lovely. She is gone and has been replaced with much less professional management, which is why there is a lot of turnover. The people in there now are difficult to say the least. I really enjoy their passive aggressive management style. *We downsized to a two bedroom to a one bedroom. When we moved into the one bedroom, the edges of the carpet were frayed and the carpet was clearly used. We had to have it cleaned before we could set our items down on it. *There isn't enough parking space. *People have there dogs without their leashes on all the time! I have had large dogs run up to us when they see us walking our dogs.
Seriously, look elsewhere. Most of the issues are a result of poor management.

Not worth it
This place looks ok but once you move in you realize the walls are thin. I can hear every thing my neighbors say. They nickle and dime you with fees and fines. Dog poop everywhere. Only one dumpster so you either need to drive your trash in your car or walk a mile. Once your in expect rent hikes. Parking is horrible. The keyless entry will get you locked out randomly. The staff is horrible. They used to have friendly staff but not any more. Don't move here!
