unprofessional

I’ve been looking for a place to live they were nice at first it’s very cheap and nice. But when it came down to it I was very disappointed my phone was recently turned off so i went up there and told them they can contact me through email. They never did my credit got approved and I never knew I got the apartment and was supposed to move in last week and never knew. I check my email everyday I’ve waited for a month for this place yet on the very last day they finally wanted to sent me a email... saying you were supposed to move is last Saturday you have until today aka 5pm to contact us or we will cancel your application and give the apartment to someone else I was at work from 10:30am-6:30pm I always check my email after work just so I can see this it’s very disappointing because I had high hopes for this place.

Its cheap, that's all that's good

They stopped accepting packages due to Covid 19. Maybe they've picked that back up since but I've had my asthma medication sent elsewhere ever since. To pay with a card online through their own housing portal has a 17$ convenience charge. You are allowed to pay an extra 15$ a month for a parking space maybe near where your building is. If you can afford even a little better you owe it to yourself to live above this place.

Truthfull

We have lived here for a couple of years now. It took some getting used to since we had never lived in an apartment before.
Yes they lure you in with great savings on your first years rent and then when it is time to renew your rent goes up 10 or 15 dollars. What do you expect? Your paying less in rent around you in a pretty nice location.
The maintenance is just that. If you want it fixed the way you want it then hire your own professional. These people probably get paid about as much as you...
or I.
This property is a business, they are not here to make friends. It is about the all mighty dollar and that is what it comes down to. They are just doing their job.
All in all it is not a bad complex to live in. It was built in the 70's from what I was told so I think it looks pretty darn good.
As far as neighbors go. If your gonna move into an apartment you are going to encounter some bad tenants. Sometimes you have to think how important is it, after all you are sharing a building with seven other occupants. It is like having several roommates and having to tolerate there habits.
The water system is on a boiler system and yes it does take awhile for the water to heat up. It took me a couple of months to figure this out. I finally realized if you let the water run for about 15 min when you get up by the time you coffee is done you can take your shower or what ever you need the hot water for.
I have enjoyed living here and have seen and met some really interesting people from all walks of life. These apartments are not high end but if you need a starting point these are a great place to start.

Four years was too long

I lived here for 4 years and has the run around so many times. Once a package was lost because it was in a room they "couldn't get to" Next my oven was leaking grease and I was told that was normal... uh no... and had them come out 3 times to check it out before they finally agreed with me that it needs to be changed out. The other problem was every time I renewed my lease they raised my rent yet people who are new to move in get a special rate. So poor customer service on that. The most recent... and final stunt was my deposit check. First I was told i would get it within 30 days of move out... called two weeks ago and was told that was incorrect and its 45 days and my check should be sent out that week. Didn't happen. Called last week to see what's going on, was told it would be sent out that week. Also didn't happen. Today is day 45, I called again and was told I should have called corporate since the beginning to address this issue. So thanks to Kristi for giving me the run around for the last 2 weeks, but a real thank you to Sandra for giving me accurate information. I do NOT recommend renting from these people. Poor customer service. Poor information. And it's almost like they like to see you suffer when you need help.

Sincerely,
A very disgruntled 4 year long tenant.
