I bought this condo a little over a year ago and lived in it for a while before renting to my first tenant. They got a job out of town so it will be coming available again in January.
No management company to deal with, no hidden fees or rules.... You'll just deal with me directly. And if I find the right person, I will make you this promise - to NEVER RAISE THE RENT. Try finding that somewhere else. Also, your W/S/G is included in the rent, so all you have to pay extra for is electric (ran me about $50/mo).
We have an interior parking lot with assigned parking. No one messes with our cars. 10 seconds from here you will be on the highway (205 or I-5), making any commute super convenient. We even have our own I-5 exit (Glisan).
There are areas 'near' the property that are less than awesome (welcome to Portland), but you will hardly notice. Plus, we are installing new security lights and fencing that will make you feel safe as pie. The buildings are newer, clean, private and well taken care of (I'm on the HOA board).
And remember, these are condos not apartments...so the class of neighbor you will encounter is much better. Everyone cares about where they live here.
I'd prefer a quiet, long-term tenant. Single-person only. First floor unit, so it is fully handicap accessible.
It will be freshly painted, cleaned and looking sharp for you.
