This can be a trade school, community college or any type of higher education along with traditional colleges and universities. Recent updates! Several large commons areas throughout the building promote community and student connection while the private studio and one-bedroom apartment homes allow for residents to have their personal space. Unlike other student housing communities, we rent our apartments by the floor plan and not by the bed. All apartments at this new community are furnished along with providing all utilities, including high-speed Internet, at no charge to you. Our floor plans are furnished with a Murphy bed and desk set for added convenience and comfort along with bicycle hooks for easy storage. Several of our modern, light-filled apartments come complete with stunning views of downtown Portland and the West Hills as well. A beautifully-landscaped courtyard is the perfect place to unwind with friends as you'll enjoy the barbecue grill and the fire pit. The Amy also provides kitchenettes as well as several community kitchens to gather with neighbors. You'll also be sure to appreciate the four convenient key-fob accessed laundry facilities to make those weekend chores even more simple. The Amy is located in a well-designed, residential neighborhood known for attraction-packed Washington Park along with the Oregon Zoo, the serene Portland Japanese Garden, and the Rose Garden. You'll be steps away from the shuttle service to Portland Community College, Lewis and Clark College, and Oregon Health Sciences University. We're also located a short walk to the MAX Orange and Yellow lines. Decent, but not safe

I have lived in this apartment building for a little under a year. The first thing that shocked me the most when I moved in was how big the homeless problem is. There is a massive camp outside by the parking spots in the apartment, and my car had been broken into 3 times. The apartment itself is not bad except for the fact that the communal kitchen. I personally was not a fan and people always stole my food. Other than that the walls are super thick and the rent is cheap (plus you don't pay... utilities) not bad for a first apartment just DO NOT BRING A CAR
