I've lived here for 6 years with my husband and our son. I like that it is off the main streets of Grove City while still being within walking distance of the local grocery stores, restaurants, and schools. There is a daycare just a few minutes away and the schools my child will be going to are not far away either. I feel safe here and really like how the community is set up. The management and maintenance always tries their best to get things done quickly and I know we really appreciate... that. I live in a Penn Grove apartment and the space is a perfect set up for my little one who is learning to crawl because it is open and large enough for all his (surprisingly very large) toys and our furniture without feeling crowded. I would definitely recommend and I have multiple times.

not worth the money
I am currently living in these apartments on the 3rd floor with 2 young children. I pay $825 for rent and a garage. Several months ago I complained that my bathroom drains needed to be addressed as they seemed to be slow. While showering the water backs up in the tub and when you flush the toilet it acts as if it is playing 'catch up' and you frequently need to go back and try to flush again. Although they came to look at them, nothing was ever done, even after another complaint. In addition,... the A/C unit which is mounted in the living room wall only cools the living room. When asked how they recommended cooling the bedrooms I was told to put a fan at the end of the hall leading to the bedrooms and a fan in the doorway of my bedroom (which I had already done and was not effective). Many days and nights I am unable to stay in my apartment due to be concerned for my children and their health because of the heat. If we do stay, we are forced to sleep in the living room to remain even the slightest bit comfortable. In addition, the laundry is on the second floor in which you pay for. Prior to moving into these apartments I lived across the street which are owned by a different landlord. Those apartment which had central air, a laundry room with plenty of storage, and bigger bedrooms are less money and the landlords take care of any problem within a timely manner. I recently bought a home and am counting the days until it's done and I am able to move out of this apartment. It's been the biggest waste of money I've ever spent.

Colony Apt.
Nice area, esp back near the carports, private and without the traffic close to the street. Within a 1/2 mile from the park and ballfields. Complex and inside of the building is kept well clean by the staff, still seems a little high priced but convenient location just outside of town, with the college on the other side of the city. There are many restaurants close by, and grocery shopping within walking distance. The complex is set up so there's plenty of areas to enjoy outside meals, throw... a ball around, or just lay out in the sun. Many very large old maple trees in the complex, not to be confused with a "cement city" setting, more rural if anything.
