Great Apartments

While I lived in another state, my husband took care of the apartment search. I was very pleased with his pick. The apartment was quite clean for us to move right in. It's a pretty quiet neighborhood and the neighbors are friendly. Love all the birds flying around and the bunnies in the spring. And of course that my furry 4 legged kids were aloud was a must for us. Very close to main highway which takes you to grocery stores and so much other shopping. Love that we are less than an hour from... the big city. Always telling people how nice they are and to check them out when apartment hunting.

Edgewood Manor Townhomes

Some of the above information is not up to date, like the pet rent.
They are nice. They are definitely older buildings, the patios could use some updating, along with other items. They are very spacious and the end we live on is quiet, except for when the winery is having events. When we moved in the house was quite dirty, the carpets didn't look like they had been cleaned and in some areas were torn, It seemed as if they hired someone off of the street to paint because there was paint that...
dripped onto some of the floors as well as drippings on the wall and mirrors. I had to scrub the grout in between all of the tile because it was so dirty, it was an entirely different color. Our patio was disgustingly dirty, it was sticky and we had to scrub it for quite some time to get it clean. There are a lot of bees and wasps that have nests on the houses and several of the other residents do not clean up after their dogs. Once you get the place cleaned, it is rather nice and large, the rent is a little pricey especially if you have pets. It is semi-private. I wish they had dumpsters for residents to put their trash in because the weekly trash pick-up isn't reliable and often times the residents trash blows over the entire complex and it doesn't get cleaned up. My husband and I have walked around the complex several times cleaning up the trash and we walk away with several bags each time. There are a lot of kids and dogs in the complex which is nice, sometimes an ice cream truck will drive around. I haven't had to much interaction with the staff of the housing complex, but the times I have, they seemed nice. I would recommend living at Edgewood manor, it is a nice area, it takes about 15-20 minutes to get to any grocery stores and most restaurants.

Wonderful

We've lived here for a little over a year and recently bought a home. This was by far my favorite place to rent. Beautiful property! So much natural light floods in throughout all the rooms. Lots of closet space and spacious rooms! Quiet neighborhood and right next to the winery. I have to admit I'll be a little sad leaving here next month.

Edgewood manor Townhomes

Although the buildings are appealing in sight, the property lacks simple amenities that families or out going people desire. There is no community center, no swimming pool, no weight room. There are areas of rough, undeveloped spaces that are not aesthetically appealing. Parking is minimal. Right next to the property is a section 8 housing project. The plan is far from shopping or groceries. The set up of the buildings has most of them fencing together. Hardly any privacy on pouches or small... 6x10 decks. In all, the rent they demand, does not justify the cost. They will raise your rent every year you are there. There isn't a weekend that does not have rental trucks moving people in or out. The staff will address your concerns in a timely manner.
