MICE AND ROACHES!!!

Lived here for about 2 years. This property management is extremely unprofessional and unorganized. The maintenance for starters was impossible to get in contact with. There’s a mice and roach infestation. Maintenance randomly did extermination in the units and the mice and roaches were still a problem. There were 3 different property managers that were there in my time being there and I would never know when the old one had been terminated or resigned. Communication was terrible and the... management was terrible to get contact with . I went to their website and called the number and was told that they don’t manage that building anymore. It was a struggle living there , neighbors were extremely loud. When my lease was ending there was no one answering my calls , the leasing office didn’t respond to my emails and the property management ignored my texts. I would not recommend this property to anyone.

Insect-infected, bad location, bad management

Do not live here unless you have no other options. This apartment building is disgusting, roach filled, and smelly. The building manager never does what he says he will; you have to repeatedly ask him for minor repairs to get him to do his job. I had a major repair issue which never got fixed. Many of the other tenants are loud and dirty.

The bathroom floor is full of cracks. This is a very old and disgusting apartment. Roaches and flies came out within days of my move-in, even though I am...
very clean.

The location of the apartment is not good, the buses are never on time and you have to walk quite a distance to get to good transit. The neighborhood is sketchy and dirty.

Also, people leave the back gate open so even though the apartment is "locked" it is very easy for people to enter the building.

Irresponsible management, and serious bug issues

This place was a nightmare. Terrible management, and serious bug issues!

1) I had to fight a case with the management! A short summary:
I went on a vacation to India. When I came back, my apartment was empty, devoid of all of my possessions. Upon enquiry, I was told by the apartment manager, Jen, that all of my possessions have been disposed off! I asked the landlord, Berger, for compensation. He told me that being an international scholar, I cannot go for court cases since they will take years...
. Well, I did go to the court, and won the case at the court of small claims. They filed an appeal to the court of common pleas. Later on, they agreed to pay in an out-of-court settlement.

2) I had serious bug problems in my apartment, and management took months to do anything about it. Even after that, bugs were not gone.

I am a postdoc at upenn, and I spend most of my time at work. This whole issue wasted terrible amount of my time.
