Pleased with renting here!

The Belmont has been a great experience for our almost 3 year stay. The prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly and attentive. Whenever there is an issue they take care of it in a timely matter. The grounds are well maintained and the building is very quiet.

There are no amenities

There are no amenities on site. They list the units lower to get you to tour this horrible place. There were roaches everywhere, the laundry machines all said out of order. The unit had 50 coats of paint, right over every outlet and switch too, one solid color floor to ceiling. They wasted my morning, don't let them waste yours.

Horrible

Got locked out of my place, maintenance didn't answer, emergency line didn't answer, property manager didn't answer. I had the tools and simply removed the door knob then replaced with a new one and offered keys. The maintenance guy came a week later, demanded $100 cash and took my knob. They couldn't give me a solid reason for the $300 rent raise, cockroaches everywhere. Way better places in this area

Ah Nightmare!!!

I lived there for two years, Mouse, roaches, a broken hundred years old refrigerator, No bathroom ventilation,
If you request maintenance, they don't care.
someone (an angry man) came to repair the refrigerator, make it worse, every week I got spoiled produce and all my groceries. when I let them know, only one word sorry, money wasted.
If anyone does not have another way, maybe it's ok.

Decent location, decent apartment, but lots of room for improvement.

I’m a current tenant and I love living here, but management has to step up its game. Let me start with the pros, the building is situated in a nice neighborhood, close to many shopping centers as well as public transit. My apartment is huge, and the appliances are brand new. There’s also a tenant parking and multiple laundry rooms on site, in addition to some of the common areas being surveilled by cameras.

Here’s where I think improvements could be made. 1. PESTS - It’s not uncommon to find...
cockroaches in the hallways, stairwells, elevators, or even within your unit. 2. TIDINESS of COMMON SPACES - the carpets in the hallways and staircases are not visually appealing. It looks like they haven’t been cleaned in years. The building would really benefit from an upgrade/routine cleaning to these carpets. 3. MANAGEMENT- it’s extremely difficult to contact the property management. If you don’t run into them during the hours they’re on site, there’s no way to talk to them. They only have a tenant web portal for rent and utility payments, not for maintenance requests (it’s 2019 for heaven's sake). They provide you two contact numbers for such purposes, but whenever you call even the “emergency” number, nobody answers. It’d be great if management could direct a little more effort to these issues, otherwise the state of them will only keep deteriorating.
