Let me correct some lies they have in their listing:
This is not a gated community and there is only onsite security for a few hours each evening. Even then they let just anyone in, barely even glancing up before opening the gate. The sand volleyball court is not new, there is no playground, and most of the laundry facilities do not work.

The old bait and switch
I’m very disappointed. I was showed one apartment which is called a phase 1. It was lovely clean and had sidewalk appeal bc the walk was clean with zero fractures. So when I was called, that was my expectation. When I arrived at the property, I asked to see the townhouse that I would be leasing. It wasn’t close to my expectation. The walk way had potholes or mini craters and instead of fixing the walk way, I was told that this was normal wear and tear. Then I do the walk through and the kitchen... cabinets weren’t close to the quality of the place that I was shown. They may have been that way one in their life time, but certainly it was not what I was expecting. Then we got to the back yard, there was no effort to clean it for a new resident and the back patio had a huge crack, which I know from experience, you have to take care of that immediately. Pine cones all over the yard and up against the ac units. It was the worst impression. I was told this was all wear and tear. Then I was told all of the phase 1 town homes look that way. I almost laughed bc I told the gentleman that they should show the reality. It was a total bait and switch. I lost my deposit to save the price, but I was severely disappointed by how defensive the staff was and how the ignored the plain truth that the place that they show is far superior to the units that they try to give you. Please take my advice and show the real deal. You showed me a very niece townhouse, but what they tried to give me was an upgraded project unit. No thanks. The amenities seemed nice, but the house my was so below my expectations.

They Do Not Care /Rude / Fake /Liars/ Dirty
Pick a different apartment. I moved in and multiple things already broken in the apartment. This includes fire alarm, shower head was squealing, front electrical gfi outlet cover ripped off, patio door blinds were taped with clear tape and 7 of them fell down. I was later charged for 8 broken ones. I broke one of them. I picked up ten grocery bags of dog crap out of the dog park. Grass is usually a hayfield to walk in. The security gates- you can drive right around everything and they let... anybody in. The security guards are super nice and so is Elese the front desk lady. The only two positive groups on this campus. The laundry mats have three out of six machines broken in all eight laundry facilities. The dog parlor spa has little to no water pressure. The lounge area is covered in dog hair when you sit on any of the furniture. Look elsewhere. They are also dishonest and once again they do NOT care attitude shows through their fake face towards you.

STAY FAR AWAY
Rent has gone up nearly $400 the past few years. They will add an extra $100 a month to each new lease sign. They care more about the dogs than the owners. They state that it's a gated community but there is never a guard on duty. Dog crap is left everywhere and there is never any parking because they allow people from out of town park here and take the bus downtown. STAY FAR AWAY.

Live here!
My time at EG was great. Upon move in, the apartment was clean, well painted, wood floors were great and kitchen counter tops were beautiful. Upstairs rugs were clean and heat, water, gas worked just fine. I had a couple repairs later on I needed done [screen door, seal around front door] and maintenance was SUPER fast. He had it fixed the day after I submitted a request. The managers Livia and Chris were nothing but delightful and always helpful. Laundry rooms were clean and honestly don't cost... more than any other apartment complex laundry. I've read some reviews about noise level and thin walls. Could I hear my neighbors yelling during Steelers games? Yes. But it's not as though I could hear full conversations. Expect a normal level of noise associated with sharing walls with other people. The gym was really nice to have so close and I liked that the management held different community events [dog meet and greet, halloween trick or treat]. I loved my time at EG and had I not needed to move for work I would still be there. Live here.
