nice place

I have lived at Berkshire Terrace for a few years now and can't say enough about the staff at the property. Maintenance is only a phone call away and all though the office is not open every day Management will respond more so with the new software they are now using which makes putting in request or emailing to management really easy. I live in a 1 bedroom and just love it to pieces. the others who live here are wonderful neighbors and we all help each other out if needed. If you are looking for... a clean, safe place to live I recommend Berkshire Terrace.

Single mom

I am a single mother of one. I've been leaving in my current apartment since 2005. I moved away from the city so my child will grow up in a great and safe neighborhood and also attend a great school. I will recommend it to my friends especially friends with kids. Its also great for college students because it is close to a local college in the area. Very convenient with transportation, great restaurants and shopping area within a walking distance. Close to the museum, hospital, pharmacy and... great entertainment for adults and kids. I would love to leave here and call it my home for a long time at least have my son graduate high school which is in seven years from now, but my place is very out dated especially the carpet in my house. I have the same carpet for 10 years now and was fairly new when I moved here because there are some stained on the carpet coming up probably from the previous tenant with pets and I have to cover them up with area rug when I asked for it to be replaced my landlord's response was nope till I move out for it to be updated. I think 10 years it too long, the kitchen cabinets are out dated and old, it's very small but don't mind the size at all. the windows are very weak cold air comes in during the winter months and the apartment everything is central electric bill. I really don't want to move we love it here although it's not cheap I hardly make enough money to get by with rent and other bills, raising a kid on my own, but it's worth the sacrifice for my child safety. Just hope it to be dated especially the carpet other than that great neighborhood.
