When I first started looking for apartments by toward hunters Glen. The manager told me it was super safe and that she would even let her daughters live there. Turns out in the year I lived there I had to call the police twice. I tried to call management about it and they were not having it. Another issue I had was a maintenance guy come to my door on a Friday night at 11 PM to check my shower. He never announced that he was maintenance. When I called the next day to talk to someone about it she... told me I was lying and said maintenance always tells when they’re at the door. I moved out in April and get a call from a debt collector in Sept saying I owed them $81. They said they mailed me a letter 10 days after I moved out and since I didn’t pay it they called debt collection. THE MAILING ADDRESS THEY USED WAS MY OLD APARTMENT!!!! I was never late on my rent and had no idea about the $81. When I asked the manager why she didn’t just call me or email me she said “we don’t do that.”

Highly recommended
I rented one apartment of Hunter's Glen, Central for one year lease. However, I was there only for four months June - September 2020. It is a very nice community, neat and clean. Management is very caring, professional, and cooperative. Application processing is easy and specifically, I never forget the cooperation of Dede; she is very sensible and can understand what I need and solved the problem accordingly. While it looks it is a little expensive compared to its surrounding neighborhood, but... it includes water and trash. The apartment was so spacious; a two-bed room is far apart. One negative issue is the sound comes from the upper floor. Maybe I feel it badly because for the first time I was in a wooden home. The community has a swimming pool and tennis court and access to always. Maintenance people are nice and they even cleaned/washed the outside of the apartment and frontside of the community during the COVID-19. The community has one beautiful role; if the renter moves out into another state within the lease period, he/she doesn't have to pay a lease-breaking penalty if it is because of the job change. I paid the rent with a credit card without any service fee.
I highly recommend this place.

Poor Management and Inadequate Maintenance in a place with potential
The Positives Hunter’s Glen is located right next to a supermarket, and on the Clemson Area Transit Red Route. It has a Tennis court and a swimming pool. Cats & dogs are allowed (for a fee monthly rent). The on-site laundry room machines take credit cards now. You can also pay your rent online with a credit card with no convenience fee.
The negatives Management is very unprofessional & rude. For what you pay here, you should get better management.
Parking is available and there is a... designated “visitors” section. However, not all visitors park in the designated spots and could end up taking up the lot in front of your apartment. The management does not assign spots for apartments. They simply give you a sticker, and they do not tow cars that do not have stickers anymore.
Maintenance is slow & inadequate. They say they have 24-hour emergency maintenance but it’s really just a call center overseas to put a work order in for you. I locked myself out of my bedroom once on Saturday & did not get it fixed until Monday.
There is a serious need to repair the ventilation system in the apartments, as smells from other apartments will come into nearby apartments, which affects your enjoyment of your place of living. Whatever your neighbors cook or smoke, it will come over to your apartment, and since this is a smoking is allowed inside the apartment, you should keep that in mind.
Cracks and crevices will allow rats to sneak into your living space.
Rating: My rating could be 3 stars if management changed. 4 stars if they fixed their vents, and 5 if maintenance improved. But as it is now, I can not recommend this place.

Nice place to live
I've been here for a little over a year and have been happy with it. When there is a issue with your apartment maintence fixes it quick. The pool is nice and kept clean. You get a deal on your internet and cable. I'm paying $100 per month for cable and internet with HBO and showtime. The apartments are nice with plenty of storage space in the closets. This is a older complex but it has been updated. The rent is resonable for the area and hasn't changed since I moved in.
