Very old Be Away

[read carefully before moving to this place] I regret ever moving into Castlewood Townhomes. The place is so outdated and poorly managed, it's unbelievable. The carpets are cheap and don't last long at all, and when they inevitably wear out, guess who gets stuck with the bill? That's right, the tenants! You'll be charged for replacing them, even though they were falling apart when you moved in.

The kitchen countertops are also incredibly old and of low quality. It’s clear they haven’t been...
updated in years. Don’t be fooled by the lower rent; when you move out, you’ll be hit with charges that are far more than what you could ever expect. They’ll find any reason to overcharge you and pad their pockets. The management is unprofessional and only shows their true colors once you’ve signed the lease.

Arrogant management and Horrible place to live!!

House is too old with very bad insulation. Electric bill will sky rocket in winters and in summer if you use A/C. Bedrooms are always going to be warm even if you run A/C throughout the day. Very old carpet and they don’t change carpet even if you stay more 4 years. This place is ridiculous. When I moved in my kitchen cabinets had got of holes and when I tried to complain they said they won't do anything and list complaints they have against me!! It makes no sense and they're only concerned... about their money. And you can forget your $500 security deposit, you are not gonna get it. They put NOTHING into the place then raise rent. Don't be stupid, choose a different complex please. The ladies in the office are rude and will give you an attitude for just walking in. They'll try and squeeze your pockets for every single "fee" they can pin on you. I have never seen such an arrogant management in my life. Avoid this place like the plague!!

Review

I have live here 2 years, neighbors have been nice. Heating & cooling of apartments are poor, the back bedroom, are always to warm, the air stays downstairs, they need more fans, or more then one return vent, anyway the air doesn't circulate through out the town homes. Electric can run in the $200's Maintenance came in a timely manor. Part of the office staff are pleasant and helpful, as for the others need to practice on their costumer service skills. Over all not a bad place to live... .
