I've been in a 1 bedroom/1 bathroom at South Line for about two months now and I've been so impressed with my experience here. The units have an updated, modern design with high-end fixtures (love the REAL granite countertops!) and the quality is better than any apartment I've ever rented. They're also "green" units that are copiously insulated and even have light-filtering film on the windows, so utility bills for my unit have been under $60/month. Walls and floors are quite thick so ambient... noise is very low. Lots of young professionals live here and everyone is so respectful and friendly. The property managers are fantastic; easily accessible and they routinely keep residents in the loop with goings-on within the apartment community or downtown, in general.
South Line is close to everything you'd need - a four-minute drive from the core of downtown Memphis and unlike other properties in the area, they don't charge a parking fee. The community is gated and I feel safe taking my dog outside in the middle of the night, especially since a security patrol keeps watch over the area. You're situated in a lovely, upscale neighborhood that still retains the historic character of downtown Memphis.
Don't let the location right by the train tracks scare you - it's just the station and trains are quiet as they pull up. Sometimes they honk their horns during daylight hours but that's about it. I'm a light sleeper and I've never had an issue. If you want all the amenities of downtown Memphis with the streamlined beauty and peace-of-mind of new construction, you'll feel right at home here!

I love my new apartment. The location is perfect, your in walking distance to shops and restaurants. You are steps away from the farmers market, which I must add always have the best fresh produces. The community is full of young professional. Mgt and maintenance are the best. If your looking for a high end, safe environment then this is the community for you!!
