Bad Management

Facility is convenient for UT Arlington students but management is very bad. They show their mistakes of billing as mistakes by tenants. They charge you for the full 12 months even though they do provide the apartments for the full 12 months and do not prorate the rent for the partial months accommodation they provide.

An Honest Review for all Potential Residents

I’ve lived here for 3 years and I have to say it has been a rough 3 years. UTA students will love the commute to campus. On the other hands here some things to keep in mind. One, the apartments are not safe at all and the management doesn’t care about your safety. Anyone can access the building at any time because half the door here are broken or don’t even have handles. My roommates bike and catalytic converters were stolen from the garage. Due to lack of cameras they were never found. We have... also had incidents of people walking into peoples apartments and we had a fatal shooting in the hallway of the 4th floor. As well as multiple suicide attempts by residents here with a lack of care by the staff running the front office. Two, the apartments are not clean by any means. This year we have had an issue with residents allowing their pets to use the restroom in the hallways. I have personally reached out the management multiple times about this and their only response is “we already talked with them and there isn’t anything we can do”. We also have had poop throw up and trash slung over the walls and ground that makes the whole hallway smell like a land fill. The apartments are also infested with roaches which can be found crawling in the units. I have personally found and killed multiple in just the past 6 months including one in my bed. My AC has been out for two months and every time I call down to the front office all they do act as the middle man from the maintenance supervisor and me. Three, the terrible management staff. Management here at the apartments is lacking big time. Delayed notices for issues and members that give you the evil glare if you go down while they are working. They are not helpful in the slightest and do not what you to rely on them for any issues you are having. There have also been instances where friends of employees were working shifts in the offices so their friends could study so it’s safe to say that they don’t know what to do. Four, the amenities of the apartment. Don’t expect to use many of the amenities that are advertised here like the pool. During the summer their were many instances were the pool was taken over my family that did not live at the apartment complex or high school out on break. My friends and I were closed out once due to a family who was throwing a kids birthday party down there. The pool area on top of that is never clean. I have seen throw up, empty food containers and empty alcohol bottles.

An honest review from a 3 year resident at this apartment

This is the 3rd year of me living at this apartment, and I have a lot to say about this apartment. The location of this apartment is great, especially if you go to UTA, with UTA shuttle shop in front of the office center. The thing to keep in mind is that they will consistently change on your lease, from starting to charge you water bill like crazy ($30/month with normal usage) to adding electric cap on your lease, to forcing you to pay renter's insurance (or pay them $25/month). The safety of... this apartment is also a concern, the floor of the hallway by my apartment unit is cracked, and the door handle was recently broken off, the elevator was messed up, and some fob sensors were deactivated, meaning ANYONE can enter the building. The other thing worth knowing is that the maintenance people can come in at any time and be loud like they are having a party at your apartment. With new apartments consistently being added, you should also consider other apartment options.
