Good morning, today has been a very upsetting day for me. It is my mothers birthday and as my mother was waiting for me outside my apartment complex (44 south) to head to her birthday breakfast she was harassed verbally by Regional Director Heather Garvey who apparently is Regional Director of 44 south apartments on 4401 south congress avenue 78745. My mother was patiently waiting for me with her boyfriend and stepped out to fix herself and instead was greeted with screams of harassment from... Heather. Heather began to interrogate my mother asking why she was there and who she was with and what she was doing with a voice of disrespect. She doubted that my mother was even waiting for someone who lived at the residence and believed that she was just loitering. Heather began to take pictures of my mother and her boyfriend and even took pictures of my mother’s license plate. I’ve been a resident for 1 year and I seriously considered staying another year but after the situation this morning I no longer would like to stay there under the management of Heather Garvey. If you decide to live here be careful as your loved ones may be harassed and interrogated by management here as they are skeptical about who actually lives here and who don’t. Read More

The maintenance staff are good guys, but management and security are atrocious. Management is incredibly rude and unwilling to hear out residents' concerns. If you live here, your car will likely be broken into at least once, so be prepared and be sure to not leave any valuables in your vehicle. "Security" is one guy who drives by on occasion, takes a picture to prove he was there, and then drives away. Great property - most bang for your buck in Austin. I only have positive things to say about the property and overall leasing experience. Management & maintenance has been especially helpful and ensured my time here has been seamless and stress-free. Highly recommend!

I have been living here for about 4 months and it has been nothing short of amazing. I’d like to note that signing here was a last minute decision for me, but was made SO easy and the staff was incredibly helpful. This community is quiet, clean, safe, and fun! This property is amazing. I went about searching multiple location from South Austin, Downtown and the Domain. 44 South had a great special and I was truly happy with the technology features and amenities found in this beautiful mid-rise community. The office team, Theresa and Tristian are super helpful and friendly! This is a fantastic location for myself to easily get onto i35 for work when I travel and sneak away to The Yard (St. Elmo district) for fun activities and dining.
