Honest Review
My partner and I moved into Lenox SOCO on October 12, 2023. The initial process of signing the contract had its share of problems, which, while time-consuming, were eventually resolved after some direct communication and effort from both parties. So far, everything seemed to be progressing well.
However, our excitement took a hit on the move-in day. Upon entering our apartment, it was evident that the hygiene and supervision conditions were not met to our satisfaction. After we raised this... issue, we were offered a cleaning for the next day, but we had already started moving and couldn’t wait. We were offered a $50 credit as a sign of goodwill for the time we spent cleaning and the supplies we used, but we had spent $82.53 on cleaning supplies.
The larger question arises: Should an apartment be delivered in such conditions in the first place? The initial state of our apartment was disappointing, causing unnecessary stress during an already hectic moving process. The offered $50 credit did not fully compensate for the expenses and time we invested in cleaning.
Additionally, we found issues with rusty oven trays and a leaking dishwasher, which were promptly addressed by the maintenance team. We appreciated their swift response to these concerns.
In conclusion, while there were positive aspects, including the responsiveness of the maintenance team, the initial condition of our apartment left much to be desired. Clearer attention to detail during the move-in process and fair compensation for the inconveniences faced would greatly improve the overall experience at Lenox SOCO.

Maintenance Crew Carries The Weight
I've been here for three years, and I have to say I've always been truly impressed with the Maintenance guys here at Lenox Soco. They are efficient and effective, and are always friendly when you see them. They are diligent about their work. They take the time to find solutions to the problems going on. They definitely need a raise and benefits because I can tell you this. If it wasn't for them, this property wouldn't be in the shape it's in because they are the backbone that carries Lenox Soco!... They are the ones that work behind the scenes that get things done. That's on 100 too.

Do not live here
When I signed my lease, I was told that I was getting a unit with a yard (the yard was the entire point). The leasing agent gave me instructions to go drive by the building I would be in to look at the yards, she stated that “one of those” would be mine. I showed up on move in day with my movers (cost $400) to a unit that didn't have a yard. And I got a "whoops not sure how that happened" and a "human error" excuse. They didn't have a unit available with a yard for months. They told me they... would help me "get out of my lease" and I believe were hoping they'd get rid of me (as if it's that easy to find what I so carefully looked for in an apartment). Even if I wanted to get out of my lease, I didn’t have any other options, my entire life was packed up in a moving truck, I had nowhere else to go. They offered a mere $400 concession to try to make this "human error" right. It felt like a joke. This drastically impacted my mental health, living out of boxes, not getting what I signed up for, being lied to, not having a yard for my dog, feeling as if they'd rather get rid of me, and being financially unprepared for this type of “mix up”. Without any other options, I lived out of boxes for over a month, had to pay for movers for a second time. Management is a nightmare to deal with, constantly gas lighting and down-playing the severity of some issues.
The pool has been empty and "under construction" for weeks. This sign that says “pool closed for TODAY” has been up for over a month. We can't even go sit BY the pool, can't enter the pool area at all (lounge chairs, couches, tvs, grills). For how much I pay in rent for these "amazing amenities" you would think that we’d at least be able to use the pool. We got a tentative timeline of 3-4 weeks on April 3rd, yet the pool has been out of service since earlier this year, they've had plenty of time to begin repairs sooner. Yet here we are, in May, with no pool. No type of rent compensation or anything for the MAIN amenity being out of service. Ridiculously high rent for a 700 sqft apartment, inconsiderate management, and out of service amenities. The dog wash station was also broken for the first two months of my lease. This place is overrated. They treat you as if you're just a dollar sign instead of a human. As a prospective renter, the outward appearance of this complex is very misleading, they hide it well. But do not live here. You can find way better for this price
