I wish I knew how many issues this building has before signing a lease here.
We haven’t had hot water for nearly 2 weeks and the water we do have has a bad taste and smell and feels unsafe to drink.
The views are amazing and it’s great being downtown but that doesn’t matter because the corner of 6th Street and Brazos is genuinely terrifying and unsafe. People are openly smoking narcotics and shooting up right in front of the building. My girlfriend has been screamed at and chased just walking... to the coffee shop down the street. I’m a 6’1, 200 pound man and even I feel unsafe walking my dog day or night. There is no security…
The building has so much potential but with the issues and negligence plaguing the building, it’s insane that they’re charging that much for rent and not offering any concessions when I’ve had to literally ask a friend if I can shower at their place because my apartment doesn’t have hot water.

The Worst
This place is expensive and low quality. I have lived here for years and now looking to move. We have not had hot water for 7 days. The hot water is ALWAYS compromised. It is not the fault of the management team, it seems to be the building itself.

Nowhere near luxury
Although there are some positive aspects to living at the Sienna, such as the responsive and personable local management team, great onsite restaurants, convenient location, and nice amenities like a rooftop pool, resident's lounge, business center, and gym, my overall experience renting an apartment in this building has been negative.
I will preface that I had a one month trial period where I could’ve gotten out at the beginning of my lease, but I had invested too much time and money and was... convinced the “worst” was behind me and the building would only get better. It did not.
I initially leased sight unseen based on the impressive renderings, amenities, and location. Unfortunately, the actual quality of the finishes, appliances, and overall build did not live up to the marketing materials. While pandemic supply chain issues and labor shortages may have contributed to this, the corporate team confirmed that the actual apartments would not match the renderings. However, as of March 2023, they’ve started renting the 15th floor as “luxury lofts” that do actually meet the initially marketed renderings, leaving the “OG” residents feeling a little miffed.
The build quality, finishes, and appliances feel more like a college dorm than a luxury apartment: * The two-door refrigerators with the freezer on top are barely full-size and have no water filtration system * Electric stoves only, with no gas range options * Economy stackable washer & dryer combos * Missing screws in door hinges since day one * Plastic baseboards instead of wood * Cheap, easily-dented vinyl wooden plank-like flooring * Showers with cheap plastic floors and shower heads with no water pressure
Most floor plans do not have A/C vents in the bedrooms or bathrooms, only in the main living space. The elevators are constantly breaking down, forcing long waits for residents, and to add to the congestion, the building's cleaning staff, engineers, and maintenance teams also use the resident elevators. The noise level from the bars on 6th Street is unbearable, especially for apartments facing north like mine. The pool is too small for both hotel guests and residents, and it feels like the hotel's needs are prioritized over residents.
Overall, I regret renting here, and I feel that the building is overpriced for the quality of what you get. While there are some highlights, the negative aspects far outweigh them, and I would not recommend this building to anyone looking for a luxury apartment.

The Walmart W
Never forget you’re sharing an apartment with a hotel - and their priority is the guests paying $500 a night. Mediocre at best in every way. Wax myrtles is a joke too - food sucks and service is nonexistent. Elevators are so slow you could take the stairs up and down 31 floors twice before they come. Don’t know who the reality/design group was but I will find out and never live somewhere like that again.

We appreciate your feedback and are sorry to hear your experience has not been great. The hotel and apartment building are managed separately even though we do have shared services. All residents and hotel guests are treated equally and both teams... strive to give 5-star service. Please contact our Property Manager at 512-782-2000 to discuss further and address your concerns. Low quality finishes
The finishes are VERY CHEAP. The showers only have HALF of the closure. Many units have BIG columns in the middle of a room!!
