NEVER LIVE HERE.

This place was a living hell. The only nice person I met that works at this property was one of the maintenance guys. Front desk ladies and higher ups are so insanely rude. I had a terrible experience with TOXIC mold in my apartment, and they tried to blame it on me and say I should have changed the vents. I lived there for barely 2 months... and other residents had the same problems. I hired a professional mold inspector because management was downplaying the problem and stating it was dust. I... paid over a grand to get this inspected, and toxic mold came back. Volume apartments handled this situation terribly and I hope NOBODY rents from here. If you do not want your health to be affected, you won't live here. My dog and myself have had severe health problems since moving out, being attributed to the mold in this apartment. I feel terrible for those that still live there. The only thing Volume apartments gave back to me, was my safety deposit. Did not bother to reimburse me for the mold inspection or the few months of rent I was paying to live in a TOXIC environment. Not once did any management apologize for what I had gone through here. So disrespectful and rude, I almost got a lawyer involved but did not want to waste another second on these people. Not to mention, the nasty roaches everywhere are DISGUSTING and they claim to have pest control come, never once saw them. Had to hire my own pest control from an outside agency. So ridiculous. Save yourself a lot of time, money, and health and do NOT live here.

poorly managed

billing issues upon move out. The keys were turned in three days prior to the lease end date and the property is still attempting to charge upwards of $300 for "rent" for dates past the lease end date. With multiple attempts via email and phone to both the property and the former resident team we were unable to get a response. Management only responded after a month of attempted emails and phones calls after posting a google review, but they still refuse to resolve the issue. Management is... claiming the extra charges are due to a late notice to vacate, although I have an email from the leasing office allowing for a late notice to vacate due to not receiving a lease renewal offer in a timely manner.

It’s not only the billing issue but the state of the property itself. Mailboxes were oftentimes broken into, resulting in stolen credit cards and packages. The washer/dryers were out of order frequently, and the laundry rooms didn’t even lock, allowing for homeless to inhabit them. The dog park fencing was falling apart and the entire property was riddled with dog poo. The apartment itself was damp, musty, and moldy and the AC went out multiple times in the heat of the summer. The police were on the property multiple times a week for domestic disputes and the whole place is just unsafe, poorly managed, and badly maintained.

Save yourself the trouble and just live somewhere else.

Great Place to Live!

I love living at The Volume, they have a great support staff, a dog park, a hammock and several other amenities! The rent is high for such a tiny apartment, but it's totally fine for 1 person and the neighborhood is amazing. I always feel safe and it's super walkable. I would recommend The Volume to anyone!
