DO NOT SIGN A LEASE!

The place seems like a “luxury” apartment but you will soon come to realize they built them with the cheapest materials. You can literally hear your neighbors sneeze and if you live in the 1st or 2nd floor, the ceiling will sound like it’s falling down since it’s wood flooring. The office is nice when they are trying to get you to sign the lease and then they are non existent. You will have an impossible time trying to contact them over the phone and will not get back to you when they say they... will. You end up having to try and find them in person. Very unprofessional. They will not do anything when it comes to loud tenants since they only care about you paying rent. My car was damaged with overspray and they tried to say they have no record of anybody painting anything although they acknowledge it was their property. How convenient..If you read this, I hope you turn away from this place and not go through the nightmares I did. Living here has been the worst time/mistake of my life!

If you value your sanity, don't move here.

We made the mistake of choosing 26 at City Point mainly for the fact that there are elevators since upon moving I was expecting my first child. Big mistake. The elevators are CONSTANTLY down, maintenance being done to fix them every other week. Truly a miracle if a whole month passes without it breaking down again. Throughout pregnancy I could handle the inconvenience of taking the stairs, fine. But imagine after just having a baby, not being able to go up to your apartment by simply pushing... your stroller with your baby in tow because the elevator is out of order for the 5th time this month. So now you're carrying a baby, a diaper bag, and groceries up the stairs to the third floor all while recovering from a major surgery.

Now, onto the cheaply made apartment. If it rains and you live on the third floor, your ceiling WILL leak and the drooping paint filled with water will leave huge marks in your walls. The wooden planks holding together your kitchen cabinets will give out and fall off. You without a doubt will hear your neighbors phone vibrate through the insanely thin walls.

And to top it all off, ROACHES. Mind you I have an infant so I am constantly vaccuming and moping and sanitizing, so the issue is not from a lack of cleanliness. At one point we had pest control come three times in one month from how bad it had gotten.

If you've made it this far I hope you make the wise decision to RUN, not walk, away from 26 at City Point.

Been a resident for a year.

I have mixed reviews for this property. I have been have over a year now. I work as a registered nurse. I think this properly has declined since new property owners have taken over. It is less clean and the quality of people of people coming in here are going down. The pros to this property is that you are close to everything and very safe. This is considering that you are next to the police and a major highway that can connect you to anything. One also pro is the office manager Brenda... who is the last of the people in the office from when I moved in. Any I problem I come to her with she handles very fast and I have a solution quickly. I can not say the about the rest. Also, this is not a place for kids, although its a excellent school district, it is more friendly to dogs than kids. Nearest park miles away. I am going to renew my lease here because of convience but I would look at the total package before coming.

Bad management can ruin a nice apartment.

The management staff is not good, nor do they care about their tenants. The apartments themselves are nice. So, if you don’t care about bad management, a dog park riddled with wood chips and rocks for your pets to eat and get sick from, limited parking, and lack of amenities, then I would recommend it to you. Also the price is ridiculous for the location.

Lack of Communication & Follow-up

Although the complex is new and modern, the team lacks communication & follow-up.  When everything is at the final stage of the process, they tell us that their move-in special is no longer valid without even letting us know the changes although that's what we were made to believe from the flyer and email they sent us at the time of application.

DO NOT trust what they say verbally. Make sure you get it in writing because they change so often and don't even take time to inform clients.

BE...
CAREFUL dealing with them.
