Previous Resident Review

I was a resident of the Lexington Apartments for 4 years. My stay at the apartments was great. There was never an issue of safety, and the property management team was awesome! Rosemary, Francisca (previous manager), and Anjelica have all been great. I never had an issue with submitting maintenance request. All requests were generally answered within 24 hours of submission (most of the time same day). If you are looking for an affordable location for your family, look no further... The Lexington... Apartments is a great option.

Do not move here

I have been living here for 5 years and every year the price gets higher and higher. I don’t understand why if these apartments are not well maintained. My stove has been broken for almost a year and still have not received a new one. They only fix it then it breaks within a week. My carpet has only been changed once in the 5 years I have been here. The cabinets in my kitchen are rotten and are always breaking and they do nothing to fix it. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! You can find better apartments for... a better price.

STAY AWAY!!!!!!

We moved in July. We discovered a non-working a/c unit upon move in and approx. one month later, it still does not work. We set our air on 50, and during the day it would get up to 80 with windows, doors and blinds all closed. The lowest we've seen our air is at 68, in the middle of the night. We have brought our concern up to management multiple times. Supposedly maintenance has been here to fix it and supposedly it is working fine, to them. However, we have it set for 68 and it still gets up... to 80 during the day.
Also, our refrigerator door was falling off, when notified, they did nothing, so my fiancé had to temporarily correct the problem.
In the laundry room just off the kitchen, the vent hose was disconnected and we could see through to the apartment below us. How did they address this concern, duct tape...I'm not kidding either, the maintenance guy duct taped our hose to the floor despite our concerns stating they should put in another hose that goes all the way through so we aren't poisoned by the gases coming out of the washer/dryer unit below us. The dryer vent that hooks up to our dryer's hose, was filthy! Dust, Grime and lint was all over it!!
Management is a joke. Fransica is a decent person who would do well if working for better complex. Her boss, however, who has never introduced herself except to insult us, is rude and needs to be fired! When we brought up the concerns about the air again today, she stated, "Well I don't know where you think you live", insinuating that we obviously don't live in a decent part of town. All we asked for was to have a working air conditioning unit, a fridge door that doesn't fall off and a clean apartment to move in to, but that was too much for this apartment complex to handle.
If they do to come to fix anything, dont expect them to notify you of entry or provide you with a notification stating they came to address your concerns and what their findings are. If you want this information, you will have to walk into the office and ask in person. But beware, they probably won't be there to answer, as we have experienced multiple times when they advertise they are open, the door is locked, lights are off and there is no sign stating when/if they will be back.
Finally, if you want a decent parking spot, you have to pay $20/month. Most spots have to be reserved and no, it is not even covered parking.
Anyone looking in to this place, save yourselves and run, run as far as you can!!!

stay away

as someone who lives here, i would say stay away unless you like rude management and no security.

people blare with loud music out of cars all times of the day and night. when we complain, nothing gets done.
they charge you extra for water, trash pickup, pest control and reserved parking.
the last three renewal increases have been 74 for this recent renewal, and were proceeded by 52 and 50, the previous two years, and nothing has changed here except for a small fenced in dog area, and a smaller...
playground, which hardly is used.
the management company (Legend asset management in arlington) clearly show that by jacking up rental rates so much that they only care about the money. they claim its market value, yet when looking into other apts nearby, im seeing rent less.
then they made the claim that its property tax. but one look on the dallas county appraisal website shows they paid 80K less this year than last.
i also have a written note in my file that no one is allowed in my apartment if I am noan) home.( I had stuff stolen by previous maintenance)they tell me that note is not valid and they can come in there anytime i want. the past mgt companies and managers of the apts worked with me when i needed something repaired.
