I’ve lived at Cypress for over two years now. I don’t mind the environment but do NOT live here if you expect the management to treat you like human beings. Through their portal they create a very small window to pay rent and will not send any notifications or call you if you miss that 1 or 2 day window. But they are extremely fast to collect a high delinquent fee.
Auto payment could be an answer until they raise your rent during renewal and do not call you that the auto payment doesn’t update... with updated rent. But again, will happily inform you about the delinquent fee. I give them two stars. One for the layout and one for the food trucks.

We are sorry to hear you feel this way. The TAA lease agreement states rent is due on the first of the month and considered late on the 4th of the month. This lease agreement is widely used around the state of Texas. Auto pay is definitely an option,... however, we aren't able to update that for our residents as the resident does need to update that when their rent amount changes. Bad Management/towing company
The apartment complex is the worse, I should of acknowledge all the negative comments about this apartment complex. They partner with a towing company that drives around at night and tows cars “that don’t belong there”. I had a friend stay with me and he registered the car within 5 minutes and he forgot his charger in the car and the car was gone. They literally took the car and he wasn’t even in my apartment for 10 minutes. Everyone do not lease with this apartment complex. No wonder they have... a low rating. And if you get towed, the pay ranges from $300-700. And my friend got towed twice and he did exactly what they told him. Management said it was his fault and they won’t help him.

If you have high standards avoid Cypress at Lewisville
There are several things here that would shock most. Most days as you enter the gates to you home you are greeted by mountains of trash. The dumpsters are overflowing 2-3 times a week with trash literally piled around them. Management also allows for people to consistently leave entire rooms of furnishings laying in the commons areas surrounding the dumpsters. Mattresses, box springs, sofas, etc are common lawn decoration. The stairwells and hallways are never cleaned. I've been here a... year and haven't seen them cleaned even once. So they are often littered with trash but, worse the spills and trails of dripping liquid from the trash bags left in the hall are left to continually build and become disgusting stains on the concrete and walls a long with trails of who knows what running down the several flights of stairs.
Beyond that the complex is grossly short on parking for residents. To make matters worse they enforce parking with a towing service; however, do NOT provide adequate parking for visitors either. There are 13 buildings and only a handful of visitor parking spots. Visitor parking is typically taken up by actual residents because parking is so limited. If you come home any time after 8:00pm (9:00pm at the latest) you are likely to find yourself without a place to park. Despite the fact that they do not provide adequate parking for residents, and virtually no parking for visitors they will tow your guests within hours for not using the "non existing designated parking". The tow trucks patrol every day because it's easy money knowing that residents and guests are forced aren't provide with enough parking spaces to "comply" it's guaranteed every night will result in several vehicles towed. They charge just over $300. to retrieve you vehicle.
