Great place to live.

The staff is wonderful, Katrina and her team are always on top of things! The maintenance crew is also very responsive and you can tell they truly care about issues when they come up. The facilities are of good quality and are well maintained. It's so great living at a place where you feel safe, welcome, and confident that you can depend on the management when issues do come up. Living at Savannah Oaks was easily one of the best decisions we made since moving to Lubbock. Highly recommend!

Home Sweet Home

Savannah oaks has been my home for 4 yrs now. I love the layout of my apartment and the complex. It is a very quiet and charming place to live. The pool and laundry center is always very clean. I am impressed with the maintenance staff any time I have had an issue in my apartment, it has been addressed quickly. The office is always engaging with residents and coordinating events and things to make everyone feel welcome. The parking is my only complaint but opted to get a covered parking space... to ensure my own spot after a long day. Not to mention BEAUTIFUL greenery. The landscaper works 24/7 to keep this property a GEM. would recommend to family and friends.

Would not recommend to anyone

This place hyped themselves up buy offering lower rent deals to people who write good reviews, and they also have the office workers write good reviews. I do not recommend these apartments to anyone. I had one stain on the carpet that could have been cleaned with a stain remover or carpet cleaner, and they charged THOUSANDS of dollars to do it. They rip people off, and they honestly suck.

I subleased an apartment, and upon moving in I realized that my bathtub and toilet were not able to be...
used. I tried to get them to fix it immediately and they tried to charge me for the repairs. They are absolutely awful to their remnants once they’ve lived there for longer than three months. Especially if they have any issues regarding their apartment. Plumbing sucks, and water gets turned off regularly. Even though they may try to give you warning, it’s still way too frequent. Especially considering how much you’re paying. These apartments are over priced and are way too hyped up by management in schemes to make themselves look better.

Save your money.

Not bad for the$ BUTttt

For an Honest opinion, not paticipating in discounted rent monthly contest for the best review.
These apartments are better than 80% in this price range. Maybe better.

Any advice on the internet will advise you to be sure to inspect your apartment on a check list before you sign anything or move in.
Be diligent with this and it won't be easy I warned you. Also Common Sense will tell you these apartments are nearly 37 years old and there are lots of tree and the plumbing system was not as good...
back when this apartment was built as it is now.
If things look too good to be true they probably are. So your bathtub shower tile toilet sink throughout the apartment has been glazed and you'll soon find out that this comes off in sheets the first time you clean. Renee saw that you were going to find 37 year old porcelain stains rusted Etc if this bothers .
Another thing is that the water will be shut off in your apartment on a regular basis sometimes 5 times a week. This can't be helped and they'll try to give you some notice on that day if they can'.
The carpet will be cleaned right before you move in look at this closely every inch of it because once it dries completely quads are going to show up and you'll get blamed for them. And I don't know how to fix that they charge 3500 I believe for stain. Also when you do a walk-through they'll take you to the gym and it appears to be a good temp if you like working out if you are a woman and not a powerlifting woman the gym equipment is very limited. They are adjusted welded adjustment that don't fit your torso. There are more women that live there but it is clearly suited for men they had some hand weights and a yoga ball but it disappeared and they're said they're not updating their gym equipment
or replacing any of the missing object because it'll get stolen again. Also if you renew your lease there will be some young men come in with a hose and I swear to God they will be gone before 10 minutes are up and that includes sit up equipment time.
I will say this maintenance is very attentive if something breaks hot water heater whatever at any time.. they just have one maintenance man instead of a crew workers with a high turnover another word spackling is done correctly baseboards look nice. this in my opinion makes them outshine the others. were it not for the painted bathtub that's just so deceiving to me
That alone

The best-kept secret in town

We love living at Savannah Oaks. Before we moved here, we lived at an apartment complex on the South Loop just West of Slide. There was crime, the facilities were always broken, there was constant traffic noise, and the management treated their residents and staff like inputs instead of people. Our experience at Savannah Oaks over the past 18 months could not have been more different. It's so inconspicuous from the street that you can pass right by it, but the interior of the Savannah Oaks... complex is an oasis. It's covered by old, tall trees, so the walkways are shaded and the grass is lush. I swear that on hot summer days, your patio is ten degrees cooler than the rest of town. The apartments themselves are great, too. Even though it's an older complex and not everything is totally up to date (one of our bathrooms is still just barely functional), the interiors are clean and spacious, the customizable accent walls give the apartments character, and the maintenance staff is competent, timely, and friendly. In fact, the best part of Savannah Oaks is the people. The residents are friendly, too: they will actually say hi to you, introduce themselves, and strike up a conversation. We have gotten to know not just our neighbors, but other folks we see regularly throughout the complex. The management is great as well. They are all legitimately cool people and we have gotten to know each of them. Though you can count on them to be professional, they are never uncaring - which is more than I can say for the managements of other complexes in Lubbock. So long as you pay your rent on time and don't trash the place, they won't come knocking on your door or hit you with fines if you forget to pay your covered parking fee (for example). It's an easy and comfortable place to live, and we wish we could take it with us when we eventually leave Lubbock.
