Very frustrating experience

Stay away!!
New management has been incredibly frustrating. We moved out about a month ago and got hit with a HUGE move-out charge of over $950. I had to reach out to Morada several times over the course of two weeks to get detailed information on what the charges were for. When I received the walk-through photos there were images that showed food left in the pantry not belonging to me. When I called to clear this up, I was told that if I couldn't prove it wasn't my mess then I just needed to...
pay for it since it was their word against mine. Additionally, I was charged for damages noted in my inventory move-in form. We rented a one-bedroom, one-bathroom unit that only had carpet in the bedroom and they told us that the cost to replace it due to a single stain would be $650. When I called to speak to Melanie at RFC she was incredibly rude.
In terms of living there, it was incredibly frustrating. Paper-thin walls, the trash that piled up in the trash room for days on our floor, and more. The service elevator was out for months, and there were times that the garage wouldn't work and would stay open for days or weeks resulting in little parking for tenants. During a time when the garage was broken, a tenant's car was broken into which is frustrating since you have to pay $35/month per car to park there. I would not recommend this apartment and I believe that there are better places to live in the area. Save yourself time and money and look elsewhere!

Nice, New and Deceiving

The location is great, the staff is attentive and helpful. The building is lipstick on a pig. The main building, only has 2 elevators, one has been “getting repaired” for more than 10 months out of the past 12. The ceiling has not been repaired from when the freeze happened over 18months ago.

Morada has changed for the worse

(Note: The following does not apply to current/former staff, who have been nothing but friendly and helpful within the limits of what is possible to offer, and is squarely aimed at Morada Plano’s corporate management company. Also, any overly positive reviews posted from this year reek of astroturfing in my opinion, and should definitely be taken with a grain of salt. I’ve done my best to be as objective as possible in this review.)

Morada used to be all of the things mentioned in the older...
reviews. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend anyone to move here. Morada was bought by “RPM Living” early this year, a corporate management company which has stripped the apartment of anything that was special. In addition, they do not provide an acceptable level of service for the cost of rent. (Even though I experienced an ~11% rent increase the second year, and current rates for new leasing are even higher than what I am paying.)

From the first of the year to today, 7/3/2022, the central elevator for my building has been out of commission for approximately 100/183 days by my count, and is currently down at time of writing. I have verified this by keeping track of the numerous emails which have only served to provide excuses and push deadlines. This is unacceptable, and you should be wary about how the elevator situation is described if you happen to visit. Especially as the out-of-order signs are no longer being put up on the broken elevator.

Recycling is no longer offered, and rates for trash have not been lowered as far as I know.

Any food / social events that are described in the past reviews are also no longer being offered. Last year there were a number of surprisingly fantastic events offered in addition to what is now currently offered (beer/wine/donuts with no variation each week).

Additionally, other annoyances experienced from the beginning of my time here, have culminated into what I have found to be an unpleasant and overpriced living experience that is in stark contrast to how the apartment complex is being advertised.

Finally, I see that reviews are being replied to, encouraging us to reach out to the office for complaint resolution. Although many of the above complaints have not been addressed for months and I do not believe that these replies constitute a good faith attempt to remedy what should be a preponderance of red flags to new residents.
