Horrible Management
Absolutely the worst apartments i have ever lived in. Constantly calling the front office and getting no response. When we first moved in we had water leak damage on our wall. Never to be fixed. Then we had been assigned the wrong mailbox. Then we got a garage and when we went to get the keys the other person had still had them. This is the most unprofessional establishment i have been to. I recently had new neighbors move upstairs and they have been incredibly loud. With a toddler constantly... throwing things off their balcony into our backyard while also sounding like they are dropping bowling bowls all day long. I have made multiple complaints to the front office and no response back. Therefore i called the police and had a noise complaint last night. Then this morning i wake up to my boyfriend’s truck being broken into and now we know there is NO CAMERAS around the apartments, yet some reason we still are charged for multiple fees including a security fee. I have never seen a security guard around the building and if there was one, we could’ve avoided this whole situation. This also might be because the gates are constantly broken staying open all night long for multiple days allowing anyone to come into the gate including the person who did this.

Unresponsive management, Unfair fees, Lack of transparency and communication
I have been a resident at Granary Flats for a year and four months, and I believe it is important to share my concerns and issues that have significantly impacted my experience as a tenant.
* While there are some positive aspects to this complex, such as having nice amenities, there are areas that require improvement. One major issue I encountered early on was a miscommunication regarding the flooring in my apartment. When I moved in February 2022, I was verbally assured that the bedroom in the... studio layout would have wood flooring. However, on the day of my move-in, I discovered that it had carpet instead. Dealing with this matter was highly frustrating and unprofessional, as I was asked to cancel my application on the spot, even though I had my belongings ready to unload and had waited for the apartment for several months.
* Another concerning issue during my first year was the lack of responsiveness from the management regarding my water bill concerns. Despite sending multiple emails seeking clarification, I received no written response for an extended period. Instead, I consistently received verbal reassurances with unclear and inconsistent information and excuses whenever I raised the issue. The lack of written communication and the failure to provide clear information on how water base charges are being calculated is deeply disappointing.
* Furthermore, after renewing my lease this year, I recently discovered that I am being charged fire and patrol fees, despite checking with the leasing office multiple times about any additional charges before signing the new lease. The inconsistency of information in explaining these charges, especially since I wasn't charged for them in my previous lease and the neighbor apartment complex doesn't charge such fees, raises concerns about the transparency, accuracy, and fairness of the charges.
In general, there seems to be an unwillingness to address concerns in writing, giving the impression that the management prefers verbal communication to avoid being held accountable for their words. Instead of receiving direct and timely responses, my issues are often redirected to different individuals outside the apartment rental company. This lack of transparency and communication is disheartening and creates a sense of distrust and unease among tenants.

Classy apartment and amazing staff
Beautiful apartment with amazing finishes and details. Staff although very busy leasing out this new complex they are super friendly and attentive! If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Love the neighborhood and there are so many restaurants and stores close by.

So far so good
Loving my new place, it's exactly what I was looking for. The area/neighborhood is nice. The location is ideal for me being close to work. Most of all, the granary flats team have been amazing. The whole process has been pleasant.
