While I’ve found office staff to be friendly and repair orders handled quickly, using either service doesn’t happen regularly enough to give this place a good review. Note- I’ve lived here a little shy of two years and am counting the days until my lease is up.. This review is coming with lots of experiences. It’s loud. So, so loud. It feels like there’s only a single piece of sheet rock between units. I hear everything in my neighbors’s apartments. Microwave beeping? Yep. Phone conversations?... Sure can. Phone vibrating? Yep. Cooking? Sure thing. You can even smell the food. I’m aware anytime a neighbor is sick because I get to hear coughing and sneezing. I’ve even had to hear vomiting from the next apartment while getting ready for work. The walkway patios are ripe for trespassing. I have absolutely no problem with people crossing by, but it’s also been available for neighbors to come over and hang out with their friends in front of our unit, including leaving cigarette butts and empty beer cans. You should also be aware of the lack of storage space. Yes, the apartment is small and fairly cheap, but the pantry is so narrow that a person cannot fit both shoulders in. The bathroom only allows under sink storage- minus area the pipes take up. There are not other cabinets, drawers or shelves. It is also missing a hand towel rack and medicine cabinet. Also, and this is just a note, if you’re looking for a nice swim as an adult, be aware the pool doesn’t get deeper than about 4 feet. I haven’t been up more than twice, so I don’t remember the exact number, but it is shallow.

Expect No Peace or Quiet
I'm currently living at Crest Round Rock and Thank God I only have 4 months to go on this lease. I will probably move out as soon as I pay my last month and let me tell you why. You will hear EVERYTHING around your apartment coming from the surrounding Apts. The family living above me is constantly jumping, running until all hours of the night. The apt on the other side of my kitchen wall has dogs that dark incessantly. The apt that butts up against my bedroom wall has either their TV blasting... or is playing an electric guitar. I've complained and even sent the office recordings of this noise and they said "Sorry we can't control what other ppl do inside their apartment." My point is this. If you decide to move here just pray you have quiet neighbors because if you don't too bad because the office will not do anything about it. The walls are paper thin and you will hear everything. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because the apt and complex are decent and the maintenance staff is great but that in no way makes up for the fact that I haven't slept in 8 months because of all the noise.

Came back
I don't know why the bad reviews. I question the validity of the one star. Could be from a competitor. I was here for 2 years, had to downsize and moved out, but came back because I had no problems when I lived here previously. I've never heard conversations through the walls. I did have an issue with hearing my neighbor's TV because he listens to it loud and it's on the same wall as my bed. Me, I'm considerate of my neighbors and place my TV on inner walls. He did turn it down some. I do not... believe the stated move in condition of the one star review (and by the way they are not low priced apartments). Every complex, including this one, makes repairs and replaces bad carpets for new tenants. In fact, before I moved in, the manager called me to say that the bedroom carpets are good but if I want her to replace them she will. They were fine. If I was dissatisfied I would not have moved back.

Gross apartments, bad management.
The apartment model looks so nice and that is because they don't want you to see the actual unit. When I was about to move in there today I said I needed to see the actual unit and took a self guided tour, glad I did that. There were stains on the carpet (different kinds), sliding doors coming off the hinge and the bathroom was filthy. I told them that and asked to see a different unit with hard floors and that was even worse! There were huge scratches on the linoleum along with paint drops... all along the walls, same problem with sliding door, a/c barely worked (stayed for 15 minutes to see if it would cool) and stains all over the walls. When I told the girl that was leasing apartments about the problems with the floor she said "that's because people moved their furniture" as if I am an infant. I was nice and said "can anything be done" and before I could breath another word she interrupts me and says "we are not going to replace the flooring for you" in nasty way. I was a complete gentleman and asked what I was going to ask which was if I could get a price break for all the problems and she said she would have her manager call me. 3 hours later I get a message from Karen the property manager asking me to return her call so I did withing one minute. When I did she made me explain the whole thing out acting like she had no idea who I was though I she called minutes before. When I told her about the condition of the apartments, she said in a very snarky way "we will not be giving you any sort of discount, the property is in move-in condition and is rented as-is". I happily said "that's not a problem, I will be moving to Las Brisas". These people are not nice and don't care about you, I gave them a chance even with their bad reviews and other people telling me horror stories about that place and huge move out costs with leaky a/c ducts. DO NOT LIVE HERE, the price is low for a reason and it's still too high. I also saw a dog running wild that had to be at least 60lbs that I just remembered, not a person in sight. That's dangerous for other dogs and maybe people. Also, the sidewalks are all cracking and stained. The only nice part is the pool, the rest is not worth 2/3 the rent even with their "special" that only takes care of the overpriced fees. I can almost guarantee they will respond to this saying I am lying or that I misquoted as they seem like the type to do that, otherwise this comment will have them say something totally disingenuous.

We're disappointed to hear that Crest Round Rock fell short of your expectations. We acknowledge the scuff on the floor of the only vacant apartment our leasing staff toured with you and regret that we do not replace flooring or offer apartment... discounts due to superficial scratches. While we are always happy to address resident concerns, unfortunately, no mentions of cleanliness, the reported dog, and/or maintenance issues were made on the day of your fully-guided walk-through. We wish you the best in your new home.

Crest Round Rock
The Crest apartments are wonderful let me tell you why. Stacey and Daniela in the office are wonderful. Management is great. Ruben and Peter are maintenance and can fix anything. Everyone has a great attitude and down to Earth. Some staff live on site. They are ALWAYS quick to respond and will work with you. It's a good community, people look out for each other. Kids can play outside together. There's a nice pool bbq and fire pit. Right next to I-35 2 miles from HEB great shopping around the... corner. Everything is convenient. 25 min to downtown 10 to Georgetown. PD is right down the street. You just can't get better than this. The apartments and grounds are well taken care of. Prices are competitive and the square footage is HUGE! They are very nice and modern. You'll love it here. Ive been here over 2 years and love it.
