We pay too much to be dealing with all the issues we’ve been having lately, frequently dealing with power outages. Been running on generators since mid October and they’ve been having issues with those lately as well. We lose hot water randomly and often. There’s always something wrong. Pest control doesn’t come like they use to, only by request if you can make it on the list of “limited spots”. Washer and dryer prices just keep going up even though you’re lucky if they even all work or... completely dry your clothes in one cycle.

As a landlord myself, I am very happy with my experience at Fairways 5. They have one of the best management teams in town. Michael and Monica try their best to help their tenants in every way they can. They are very willing to work with tenants and applicants when they have difficult situations and reasonable requests. Their ultimate goal is to let tenants stay as long as they can. I appreciate everything they have done to help me in my specific situation from the bottom of my heart.

I have moved in to Fairways V Apartments one month ago, and I am very disappointed.

The office simple ignores all the requests that you make.

The day I moved in I was given a check list for me to make sure everything was good in the "renovated apartment", and I had to sign this document.

I submitted the next day and mentioned that:

1) one of the bedroom doors was not closing because it was not installed properly,
2) the smoke alarm was defective and would start honking 2-3 times a day... for no reason... 2-3 am was its favorite time to go to work.
3) there was a fan missing in the bathroom, so I just had a big hole in the ceiling with bunch of wires coming out.
4) the balcony light was not working
5) there is leak in the kitchen sink... and few more things.

3 people from the management came to my apartment took a look and promised to come the next day to fix all of it.
One week later I go to the office to remind them that nobody came yet, and they took a note and promised to remind them.
One week later I go to the office again and was told that it will be taken handled soon.
Another week later when I go to the office they told me that I was my fault nobody came since I didn't submit online request.
I submitted online request more than 10 days ago and still nothing.

Fairways V Apartments charges me $15 for parking even if I don't own a car.

They charge me $40 for cable TV, even though I don't watch TV.

I signed a 14 month lease, and was promised first and last month free, however on Jan 1, (three weeks later) I am charged full month rent, and I get $80 charge for the cable.
I called the office few times, nobody picked up, so I left few voice messages asking them to call me back and explain why my rent was not prorated and why the cable bill is double (just for 3 weeks of stay). Nobody returned my call.

Also there are no screens on the windows so there are lots of bugs, cockroaches and other crawling creatures in the apartment.
