DO NOT MOVE HERE

DO NOT MOVE HERE! The worst experience I have ever had with an apartment. There has been a nasty wet dog smell from day 1. Not only did they admit to not having my apartment cleaned properly before I moved in they noticed the smell as well. The smell is still here 2 months later and they are not willing to do anything. They won’t move me into another unit or let me break the lease. Thank goodness I didn’t move my belongings into here. I was trying to get rid of the smell before I did so. They... mentioned numerous times in emails that they noticed the smell. Still no help. I slept possibly 4 hours a night do to this, my mental and physical health was deteriorating. DO NOT MOVE HERE. There’s dog crap laying around all over the hails and outside as well.

Will work with you

Accidents happen and identities get compromised and sometimes out of your hands. Amy has been awesome with my situation and I could not thank her and staff enough during this incidence that occurred out of my control. It's a great faculty and facility that I am proud to be part of the community. Thank you to hear management and staff..

Less than stellar

This is a brand new complex, but it turns out, it’s a lemon. Wish I’d never signed that 60-page lease that they gave me 5 minutes to read. After moving in, they have changed several things in the lease. They send passive aggressive emails to all residents nearly every week.

First there were plumbing problems with tub leaks that management didn’t take seriously until they had been going on for a month or more, and then suddenly it was an emergency, and residents’ plans be damned! Some...
apartments ended up with mold.

Then there was the gas leak that they had to enter every apartment to fix.

Then there was a resident with covid, and while I appreciate the fact that they fogged the building for it, being locked into the apartment for two hours while they did so kinda sucked.

Now they’re adding disposals to the kitchen. This seems like a great idea, but shouldn’t that have been taken care of before occupancy? And they’ve given us a timeline of when that will be done, over a period of two entire days. They won’t give any specific appointments for this and won’t narrow down the timeframe.

They threatened those with pets with a $500 fine if you fail to pick up every piece of poop. Nice to keep it clean, but $500 seems a little excessive. And they are apparently watching us on camera every time we step outside the apartment. Does that sound like an invasion of privacy?

I found out after I moved in that these buildings went up really fast, and it shows in the shoddy workmanship. They look beautiful on a quick glance at a showing, but close inspection will reveal cabinets missing shelves, door frames with an inch gap away from the wall, sagging globs of sheetrock mud beneath the paint, bathroom doors that won’t open all the way because the vanity is the wrong size, etc.

We were promised assigned parking spaces, but they’ve reneged on that without lowering the parking fee. And don’t get me started on the fees!

Don’t be fooled by the base rent price. There’s a $155/month fee for what they call an entertainment package, which is really just crappy WiFi that goes out several times per week and a smart home system. I’d rather pay $40 for my own WiFi plan and manually lock my doors and shut out the lights. They make the residents pay for the utilities in the clubhouse and all other common areas, whether or not you use them. All in all, I end up paying about $300 over the price I was quoted on my initial tour.

9 more months. Can’t wait to see what’s next.
