The apartment shares utility connections with the main house where we will live, so to keep things simple and predictable, we’re setting a flat utility fee of $175 per month for the first three months.

After that period, we’ll reassess the actual utility usage over the last 3 month. If you’re using more or less than estimated, we’ll adjust the flat fee accordingly to ensure it’s fair for both sides.
