Absolutely TERRIBLE and RUDE management

When my lease renewed last year management sent me a renewal offer. After reviewing, even though it was an increase in rent, I still chose to accept the offer. Fast forward a couple days later and they all of a sudden want to change the offer terms and increase the rent even more...I explain to them I already accepted the offer that THEY sent me but they could’ve cared less. I was completely brushed off and disregarded. This happened in Summer 2021 and unfortunately it’s just gotten worse..... .there’s been multiple instances since where management has really dropped the ball. To name a few....:

The security gates no longer work. I was locked out for 2+ hours one night after the front door’s keypad failed. The afterhours management crew had no idea where the spare master key was, he couldn’t get ahold of anyone. It was so frustrating. Ultimately we had to get a locksmith to drill through the keypad. And management took way too long (several weeks) to repair the keypad after the fact.

And believe it or not I was locked out another night after the keypad failed AGAIN (!!!) and management didn’t even bother to answer their phones to help this time. Ultimately I had to break in the door myself since they literally did NOTHING. It was literally midnight and I had no other option. This was in December 2021 and I’m still dealing with getting them to finish the repairs to my door. It’s a joke. Oh and don’t worry, they charged me for this too.

There are more and more homeless people and stragglers roaming around the apartment complex each and every day. I rarely, if ever, see management onsite to address these issues. The other day the police were here because a drug deal had happened literally on our complex’s driveway and the buyer ended up using and running around the property knocking on peoples doors. Management’s response? Literally NOTHING.

Can’t wait to move. If you want to be treated like an object, disregarded and disrespected by management, then this place is for you.

Horrible Management

Previous apartments I have lived at had a 30 day notice but Moda Sego has a 60 day notice. I gave my notice 30 days before the expected move out date. When the management told me that they had a 60 day notice I understood but asked if anyone interested could take my apartment when the lease ended. The management said that if I wanted to do that I would have to find someone to take the apartment. They refused to help and wouldn’t even direct interested renters my way. Moda Sego would not even... lose money so this just goes to show the characteristics of the management. I am now going to have to pay an extra months rent. Don’t expect anything out of the management here, they will not help.

Horrible treatment

This has been a fantastic place to live until around a month ago. New gates were installed that unfortunately were mounted to the outside wall of the units. Every time somebody comes in or out (which everyone has to in order to get to their front door), it sends a thunderous boom through many of the units next to the gates. On top of the sound it vibrates through the house.

While this may not seem like a big deal, it is loud enough to sit you straight up in the middle of the night. And yes, it...
happens every night without fail. I'm young and don't go to bed that early but it happens past midnight quite frequently. Not to mention it'll scare the crap out of you when you're awake.

While this seemed like a simple oversight, the owners don't seem to care to change it. I've reported the issue 5 or 6 times now over the last month only to be given vague responses that they are looking into it.

At this point I am strongly considering moving away because of how poorly this has been handled, how I've been treated by the management and the fact that I haven't slept well in weeks (and they don't seem to really care).
