My family and I were so happy to move to this community. Unfortunately, after living here for a couple of months, we began experiencing smoke coming into our unit from our neighbors unit. I have an infant baby and a toddler and I suffer from asthmatic bronchitis. We have made multiple complaints to the office, but we continue to have to deal with the smoke coming into our unit. I’m constantly having to wash me and my baby’s clothing because they smell like smoke. We have to constantly open... windows to let our apartment air out, even during the hot summer mo and now the cooler fall days. It’s cold tonight, but I have to keep my windows open so it can air out in here. The office is closed so I can’t call and complain, but I already complained earlier today when the office was open. The maintenance man was sent over and was told he smells the smoke, but he can’t say that it is weed smoke. You can clearly tell it was weed smoke, mixed with cigar smoke.

I've lived here for a year. The price you pay is good for what you get (2 Bedroom & 2 Bath) But dont expect to have peace or privacy. Management micro manages everything. You will have someone stuffing "notices" in your door every day. There's two woman in the office & they are never on the same page. The property manager Selena does not hold herself accountable for her mistakes, you will be threatened with a 60 day notice if you call her out on it. Over the last year, they opened the pool late,... went months without cleaning the hallways & harassed my guest when they were an unfamiliar face.. (PS) The maintenance man will wear dirty shoes in your apartment. Unlimited No's.

Please read if you consider living here!
At first my husband and I thought it was a great place we found it online and it was perfect for just the two of us, he was here for almost a month before I moved here, but then my husband starting telling me things and I always thought he was crazy(until I read another review on another website with the same things happening to that family). Such as he would go to work and come back and things would be moved around, or how the closet doors would be wide open and he would shut them before he... left. Then I started getting sick a few weeks after being here, and it was because our main bathroom off the hallway would CONSTANTLY smell like weed. Every night it would. The only thing the office would recommend is to call the cops, and they kept swearing that if they put air fresheners in our vents the smell would go away. (The maintenance guy who did put the fresheners in didn't even listen to me when I told him it was the main bathroom off the hallway and waltzed right into our bedroom to check that bathroom, after we clearly specified with the office where it was coming from.) So we did, every time we smelled it we called the cops, and there is even a clear policy on no drugs on the premises in the lease or you get a 3 day eviction notice, nothing was done, even with a police report stating which apartment the smell was coming from. Next thing we know we are getting harassed by the renters from the apt. that the police identified the smell from including them kicking our packages down the stairs( we lived on the 3rd floor), we bought a new vehicle, and not even a week of having it it was scratched on multiple occasions, and both of our other vehicles had scratches which almost looked like someone hit the back quarter panel on one of them. Each time having the cops called, because that is what the apartment managers had advised us to do. Still, nothing was done. Finally we said enough was enough, and we moved out at the end of March of 2016 and have been extremely happy with our decision...we weren't even there for 2 full months. We had to throw everything in our bathroom away because it smelled that bad of weed when we were packing things up. We both have lived in other apartment complexes, but this is by far the ABSOLUTE WORST experience we have both ever had! Bottom line is, LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE if you are looking for a place to rent.

Dear Past Resident, We are aware you were dissatisfied with the level of service at Monmouth Woods, a Grady Management Community. We regret any inconvenience you experience while living at the Community. After numerous calls to the Police department... and Management and a full investigation, we found no substantiate allegations to the claim. The residents in question has been a long term residents with no similar complaints.

Monmouth Woods
I have been here for 8 yrs now. I have seen so many different management in and out until.the last few years. We have been blessed to have such a great property mgr. Ms Mattie. She cares about her residents. And the area. She makes sure her team flow well with her so we all have a great place to call home. They keep the grounds clean. They also just renovated all apartments so brand new apliances. An awesome pool. And the rent is good. Im happy here.

Have loved living here
Beautiful apt, lots of space, and the community is amazing:) only downside since we moved in is some neighbors do like to play there music at full blast . Other than that is the best apt we have ever lived in.
