Mismanaged management

This is my 3rd week and I had issues already with the management. 1. They charged me 2k , when I verified it, the actual amount I owe was 700 . Rediculously crazy management!

2. I was charged with late fee, even if it was a day and prior to my move in I paid few bucks in advance. At first, the clerk told me that I owe 100 for late fee then when she gets back she told me that I owe 42 dollars. Wtf! Management...

3 When I get to my apartment a red not posted on the door indicating notice of...
eviction. This blew off my mind!??????????crazy people!!!

Please think twice before you jump into deep water. I learned my lesson...I’m dying to wait for lease to end...

The Worst

The apartments are completely outdated the model homes they show you don't reflect the apartment that you will actually be living in. The pricing is outdated online and doesn't reflect the actually pricing. The management team is not effective and wants as much money as possible. They don't address any issues you may have and don't care how you feel. There is literally no parking and instead of adding more parking management will just tow cars. The maintenance staff is a complete joke and unable... to fix anything. All your appliance will be outdated and eventually cause mold and other issues. If you value your money, health, and sanity don't move here.

Decent apartments for the price

I have lived here for close to 2 years now, and am yet to have a negative experience. Nice, friendly neighbors. Very helpful management team. Any maintenance issue I've had so far has been resolved within hours of me letting them know. I feel safe here, and it's usually easy to find a parking spot close to my apartment, and same thing for anyone visiting me. Well-maintained landscaping- great for an evening stroll. The apartments close to Kent-Kangley road have a lot of traffic sound, so make... sure you opt for one that's more towards the interior of the complex. The only complaint for me has been the dirty carpets in my apartment, and no washer/dryer in unit. However, laundry rooms are pretty close and work well.

Home sweet home

This review is regarding Washington Park Apartments in Kent, WA.

The apartment complex isn't too bad. In my personal opinion, it needs an upgrade inside the homes. Appliances a bit outdated. (I'm not saying state of the art, but..) beggars can't be choosers. Maintenance team is great and usually gets back to us the same day we place a ticket in for something to be corrected. They recently painted which made the complex a lot more appealing. It's usually quiet at night. There's the occasional...
Saturday music but surprisingly everyone is pretty respectful and turns it off at a decent hour. There's a cool playground that my little brother loves. Lots of kids, they're kids during the day and surprisingly all go inside at a decent hour. Staff in the office are great and respectful. I've never had a problem with the complex. Washer and dryer available to everyone outside of homes. Kind of a negative. You do have to have pay for all utilities. No storage units, another negative. There are undercover car spots for us for an additional $20 a month. (Recommended so you're close to your home.) other than that, I've been here almost 3 years and its home now. No big complaints.

Washington Park Apartments

make sure you ask to see the actual apartment you will be occupying. They will show you a really nice apartment, studio, 1 bedroom, or 2 bedroom that is perfect. But what you're really getting is not near what they show you.
Recurring mold on ceilings and walls that maintenance comes in and just sprays bleach on and says it's taken care of.
Maintenance here is just a crew of guys that puts band aids on the problem. They don't actually fix anything. They do the least amount possible and get...
upset when you push them to do the job correctly. They act like you don't know what you are talking about when you try to explain the problem.
The only reason I haven't moved is that other places are just too expensive, and I can fix issues in my apartment better than the maintenance people.
Renter beware!!
