This building has charm and character. I lived here 2012-2014. Opening the window in summer to smell the wafting of garlic from Bahn Thai was amazing. I loved the wood floors and the original cupboards and door handles. There is a fair bit of noise from the street but you get that from so city. I would move back again if it were in the cards. PLUS having QFC literally across the street and the Seattle Center a few minutes walk. The best of Seattle.

Use to live here
Use to live here in 94-96. Back then it had insect problems, radiator heating problems, and was as budget as it gets. My car was broken into several times. You could hear the activity if the apartment above, and the doors from your apartment to the interior hallway had a gap at the bottom that allowed you to simply stand outside a door and hear normal volume conversation. Use to be an old military building. Liked the location and would consider renting again if renovated and those problems... addressed but not if I could get a newer building at the same price with better insulation and floors, walls, and windows.
