Bad property management/dangerous area/construction zone

Property management will promise one thing and then do another and will be extremely cold and disparaging when trying to discuss issues with them. There is construction across the street and they are raising rent anyways because they can, even though they know they shouldn’t. Only amenities are bike storage which has been broken into and the backdoor is still not fixed after 1.5 months so property management encourages people to lock their bikes in their homes instead. Only other amenity is the... roof top deck/lounge which they list separately but are the same thing. The rooftop is extremely small and only has one barbecue that works 50% of the time. Maintenance guy is great and the apartments themselves are nice, but it isnt worth the price point for where you will live and what you will be next to. I was assaulted across the street and have had many close calls being attacked by others as the neighborhood is extremely dangerous. Being off aurora means you will never get any peace and quiet with the cars and people constantly going by.

Negligent Staff

Approved my application and let me know with 1 DAY of notice that it didn't go through after being "approved" two weeks prior. Made arrangements, gave up my apartment and spent money on move only to have it cancelled the day before move in. Now I'm scrambling for a place to stay and out the money I put already put in because it was supposedly a done deal. One day of notice is completely unacceptable. Apparently the guy approved my paperwork before actually putting everything through (completely... negligent). Offered me a smaller apartment at a higher price at a later move in date. That's not making it right.
