Sheridan Apartments is located in Seattle, WA in the 98121 zip code.
This apartment is one of the worst places I’ve ever lived. I honestly don’t know how it’s even allowed to operate with a license. The electrical system is extremely outdated. The circuit breaker for your unit isn’t even inside your apartment—it’s in a locked room in the basement. If the power trips, you have to wait one or two days for maintenance to reset it, especially if it happens over the weekend. Even basic usage like running a hairdryer and microwave at the same time will cause it to trip... .
There’s no individual heating in the unit—it’s centrally controlled by the building. So you’re stuck waiting for them to turn it on, even in freezing winter weather. The elevator is painfully slow and frequently out of service. When it breaks down, it can take one or two months to be repaired, and you’ll be stuck taking the stairs up five or six floors.
The building smells like old cigarette smoke, and many residents smoke regularly. Homeless individuals often urinate near the front entrance, which is both unpleasant and unsanitary. The buzzer system is also unreliable—sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.
Avoid this place if you can. It’s not worth the stress or discomfort.
