Luxury Prices, No Luxury

The building was recently remodeled, and all remodeled units were prices as "luxury apartments," well beyond comparable market rates. The problem is - nothing about this building or the apartments is luxurious. The remodels are an upgrade, but substandard materials were used. The building has zero amenities, and the units themselves have cheap cabinetry, flooring, and appliances. Not to mention, the building is situated between two group homes and half way houses, which means every time you come... home, you get to trip over junkies doing fenty on the streets. Adding insult to injury, the building recently adopted an "amenity fee" of $60 a month. This is for -- wait for it -- the luxury of having a mailbox and a package locker, and internet (which is the worst service I have ever had). Long story short, many great places to live on Capitol Hill. Pass this place up.
