Worst place to stay and live. park there is down right horrendous theres junk cars in the parking lot and mold in the apartment .Owners dont seem to mind shoot they dont have to stay there anyways. So renters beware

We're sorry you didn't have a great stay! Our mission is to provide a pleasant, great value community for our residents. We did have a situation with one non-working car in the lot that belonged to a long-term resident. However, we immediately... gave notice to the car owner to move the car, in order to avoid getting towed away.
We also have mold inspectors spot check our units and so far, we have not come across mold findings. Our best practice is to have good resident housekeeping and unit ventilation. For any residents that contact us for maintenance issues, we attend to it within 48 hours.

MOLD-SICKNESS-NO PARKING
I lived here and the owner absolutely only cares about getting her rent. The apartment has so much mold in them when I stayed there. My kids were sick all the time and I had to throw away WOOD furniture because of the mold in the walls. There is no parking since spaces were numbered and most have two parking spaces. Where do the guest park. In the MultiCare spots below Star view apartments. Once you park there you are at risk of being towed away. Children are loud when no rain exist and play in... front of your home and not theirs. The kids play in the parking lot and are loud. There is no help to stop this noise so if you work nightshift purchase ear plugs and a loud stereo for peace.
Utilities are high because, instead of renting out the garage that goes to the apartment. Owner rents out garages to anyone. These Garages are wired to the specific apartment. for instance garage 1 is wired to apartment 1. however, someone else other then apartment 1 is renting the garage that goes to apartment 1. This mean you are being charged for utilities leading to these garages used by someone other then yourself. I feel sorry for the person renting the garage that the maintenance and apartment agent uses. because, there BILL is HIGH because of Apartment owners use. This should be ILLEGAL..
Garbage is everywhere because, owner to cheap to have more pick ups.
CDC and HOUSING AUTHORITIES should come through and force owner to update to code.

Garbage pick up is offered to residents for no extra fee, and we pick up garbage twice a week.
As for electricity, each apartment unit pays only for their own electricity use.
Garage are limited and we do rent it out minimal amount from $50/$75 per month in addition to rent. However, we do not mix and match owners to garage, as mentioned.

Great Place to live in U.P.
Sad to finally be leaving this great complex. Quite a few others that rent here have lived in their apartment for more than five years and my wife and I had a great time forming friendships with them. The apartment was spacios and we had plenty of room while our family grew over the few years we were there. The price was generous with the space we got and the rent was only raised $25 in the four years we lived there.

Very Poor
They are very expensive with poor upkeep. The bottom levels are very poorly insulated. There is barely enough parking for tenants, trash all over the parking lots and trash overflowing the cans prior to the weekly pick up. Low budget, reminds me of low income units.

We're sorry you didn't leave with a better experience at Starview, as we pride ourselves on a pleasant stay with a great value. Among apartments complexes in the area, we are very competitive with our rate - we are lower priced that most, if not all... , competitors by $200/month. We also include water, garbage, and sewer, an 1 assigned parking spots as part of rent - at not extra charge. We collect garbage twice a week, also at a high frequency.
Our guest parking is limited, so it's a first come, first serve basis. It's in line with other apartment as well.
We also care about our insulation. We recommend keeping windows open during extremely hot days to add to air quality, in case air conditioning isn't enough.
