I appreciate that the property is new but the process outside of friendly property managers has been disappointing at best.
1) We moved during the winter at a time they had been advertising 1 month rent free but when I asked about it, they told us it wouldn't apply to March even though that is when the unit was available. They are currently advertising 1 month rent free again but plan on that being false advertising.
2) Instead of needing 3x the rent as a married couple, they required us to... have 6x the rent in income which we pulled off but was ridiculous.
3) Notifications about rent, leases, bills are not communicated or communicated unprofessionally or in one-liners. No notice was even received about the first quarterly utility billing. Tenants were not informed and utilities were deducted automatically.
4) The common stairwell in our unit was never fully cleaned/finished and apparently tenants are to assume the cleanliness of the common area because there isn't maintenance or support readily available for basic things.
We do love the location. Now that we are here, we will enjoy it until we move out, but I wouldn't recommend.
