The illusion of luxury wrapped in the reality of cost-cutting
The walls in the unit are extremely thin, allowing sound to travel easily between neighboring units. I can often hear my neighbors' activates in detail, which feels like an invasion of privacy. Some nights I am unable to sleep because it sounds like there is an intruder in my home. The appliances seem to be lower quality than expected for a property advertised as "luxury living". Their performance and durability do not align with the standards typically associated with this classification. I... am renting the townhome and the vents for the bottom floors are located on the ceilings. The placement of the vents has placed a significant challenge during the winter. Since heat rises, the lower level remains uncomfortably cold unless adjustments are made, such as closing vents on the upper floor. This requires daily management of the vents to maintain a comfortable temperature throughout the unit.

The worst apartment management I’ve ever seen through my years.
This review is long overdue and I’m hoping this review will save someone else the incredible headache that is Volante apartments. Im making this on behalf of my girlfriend. Since day one there have been several serious glaring issues. 1. The dishwasher leaks all over the floor with every load of dishes. 2. The AC is leaking refrigerant. 3. The refrigerator is missing an entire foot and the entire fridge is off balance. 4. The paint is so wildly cheap and thin that simply cleaning food off the... backsplash with a rag in the kitchen peels the paint right off. 5. The doorframes are literally not level or square. 6. The washer and dryer have been consistently ruining clothes and the RPM is too high for the washer and the heat is too high for the Dryer. This might be the biggest of all issues, being the maintenance man has entered without ANY NOTICE not once but TWICE and fixed NOTHING in early early morning hours. After the first time, we had cameras placed in the apartment, and on the second visit you can see him opening drawers in the kitchen (there was no issues with the drawers), he started a reported LEAKING dishwasher, and opened and closed the washer and dryer and left a note saying “everything looked fine” and left with the dishwasher STILL RUNNING. You can probably guess the result, yep, water. All over the floor. Again. So after this attempt she sent an email a few months prior basically listing every issue we could come up with? The response? Nothing. But months later gets noticed of a “yearly inspection” (these units haven’t even existed for an entire year). When she asked when anything plans to be fixed, they responded “we’re not sure. But keep an eye out in your email for a notice” it’s been over a month with 0 action yet again. The dishwasher STILL leaks. The AC still leaks. Every listed problem, still exits and there has been NO communication on it. The dishwasher needs to be replaced. The entire AC unit needs to be replaced. The fridge needs to be level. These aren’t minor issues if you know anything about home repairs or issues. AC units leaking are serious hazards. The dishwasher is going to soak water through the floorboards of an upper unit and eventually start to rot. This has been wildly outrageous for how long it’s taken to get serious issues resolved. I have never in my life seen anything this badly managed. These are major issues, blatantly ignored. A building inspector is the only solution at this point, save the headache
