Okay Apartment, HORRIBLE Rental Company

We spent a year at Bedford Crossing and the only thing I can say good about this place is that the apartment was a good deal for the price. However living there was more of a hassle than an enjoyment.

The main thing was the noise of the apartments. This complex must have been the cheapest built construction I have ever seen. You could hear your next door neighbors sneeze and even their cell phone vibrating on their table. You could easily hear a full conversation your next door neighbor was...
having. If you consider this place you must get a place on the top floor, or you will be EXTREMELY irritated by the amount of noise you hear.

As far as the complex, there are absolutely no amenities except a picnic table in the back. It would have been nice to have a little gym or something.

Our other large main concern was the security of living there. There are no cameras anywhere in the building and absolutely no staff onsite. Here were the experiences which made the security of the building a huge issue for us.

About 2 weeks after moving into Bedford Crossing multiple cars were broken into in the “secured” garage in which they charge a hefty $145 per month/per spot to rent out. I believe at least 3-5 cars had their windows smashed out and items stolen from their vehicles. A mass email was sent out which told residents basically lock their doors, don’t keep valuables in the open, and that they were going to get security cameras installed. A year later and there are still no cameras on the building.

The next issue that seemed to be an ever growing issue and one that I was personally affected by was the large amount of packages being stolen from the locked lobby. They don’t have any area or room for packages and it’s basically a free for all in the lobby with dozens of packages scattered all around. There were 2 mass emails sent to tenants within about a month timeframe stating that packages were missing and they stated that this type of behavior was unacceptable.

Finally, about a week before we were scheduled to move out, I of course had a package stolen and notified the management team, when all I got back was a very unprofessional rude email, blaming me and stating, “I should have gone to the store to buy my item and it wouldn’t have been stolen”. I didn't even receive a "Sorry" from the company.
