Apartment is ok, but somewhat dated. We have one of the upgraded ones, so it is better. However, we have not been able to use our balcony since we moved in. First, it was the wasps who have made a nest in the bottom of our air conditioner vent. Then, we were besieged by an infestation of boxelder bugs...thousands of them. When we consulted with the management, we were told there was nothing they could do about the wasps and that "everybody" had the boxelder bugs (not true...we asked some of our... neighbors). In addition, our car has been broken into and the halls are rarely cleaned. Be aware that you will also be charged for water and sewer, as we discovered after not reading the "fine print" on our lease. They will not inform you of this and it will not be indicated on your list of monthly expenditures that you receive upon moving in. We have yet to hear of an apartment complex that charges for water and sewer. On the plus side, everyone is friendly and the location, next to the hiking trails, is great. The maintenance men are really nice, as well, and try to be helpful.

Pet friendly!
We moved here a year ago from a house (duplex) and this is our first apartment setting for a long time. We love the pet friendly atmosphere and meeting the friendly neighbors who walk their dogs (we have cats). The building is clean and well maintained. Maintenance staff is hard to reach in a timely manner, but they do respond. We have had a couple of minor problems in the apartment that remain unrepaired ( a light that wont work in the kitchen and a very noisy washing machine they said was... 'fine') but the furnace/air filters are replaced regularly with ample warning. A nice place to live.
