Do not live here unless you have no choice. The property managers don't care about tenant well-being or maintenance issues. The other tenants regularly cause sewer backups that prompt the property manager to threaten to charge the entire building with the plumbing costs. There is always a disgusting smell in the hallway, which is rarely cleaned, and they often let the washing machine fill up with quarters so it's unusable. They also only provide one set of laundry machines for a building with... eight units. The apartments don't cool in summer except in the one room with the air conditioner and the heating controls are designed so that you can never get a good temperature and you have to constantly change the temperature. the fly's are so bad they attack you in the hallways and they make the apartments uninhabitable- so if you rent here you will not be able to cook or eat or sleep here. also there is no manager to contact and no maintance request has ever been responded to in over a year. there is no maintance here and no reply back ever from northern managment company. they only collect the rent electronically so they ignore everything else including the bugs which are in every apartment all year long,they come... up from the drains and they come up from the boiler and the basment and from neighboring apartments. you have to hire a lawyer and call the health department- and still the management company will not show up. guess we will have to wait until we get into court to be able to talk to someone who is in charge of these apartments. it's sad and disgusting.
