We had a wonderful experience with the property. We moved here from another property owned by the same companies. Loved our time here, besides our neighbors upstairs, which we dealt with (all a part of living in a lower). Unfortunately when we decided to purchase a house, we terminated our lease early. We agreed to the fee to re-post it and pay until it was filled. We were told the apartment was filled, however they did not tell us there was 3 weeks where the apartment would be vacant so we got... charged without notification. This caused a financial burden on us. Company was unwilling to work with us. If we had gotten notice about the 3 weeks vacancy, we would have had no issues. This ruined the experience for us.

Highly recommended
I have lived in these apartments since they were first built and I think these reviews are a bit unfair I had one small issue that was fixed promptly I called the manager he call right back and it got fixed right away I highly recommend living here the neighbors are nice the property is nice and compared to the last place I lived around the same price this place is awesome

I don’t know what all these other people Are you talking about I have never had any issues with anything the property manager responds back quickly when called These are really nice apartments When we moved in The landscaping was just being done it looks great now so I don’t know what the other person is talking about in the review I have never had any problems and I plan on living here a long time and I would recommend this place to anyone they are very nice when called The manager is a very... nice guy These apartments are very nice compared to the last place I lived at a similar price by the appliances are great the neighbors are great and I have never had any issues with anythingSo if you’re looking for an apartment in Sheboygan Falls I would check first to see if there are any available here because you won’t be disappointed I gave it five stars

DO NOT MOVE HERE
The apartment is decent, but not worth the price. The real trouble comes with the staff. The property manager never replied to my calls for maintenance requests. There were a number of small fixes needed when I moved in and after moving out they were still in need of repair. Even after multiple attempts to contact him (the property manager) he would not answer his phone. When we walked through the apartment for the inspection at move out he pointed to multiple normal wear and tear issues and... quoted absurd rates saying I wouldn't get any of my nearly $800 deposit back. He was rude and would not engage in a conversation about the place. After about 15 minutes of being berated like a child I finally left. Honestly move anywhere else in the county before this place. Van Horn has a bad reputation with their car lots and now their real estate business is following right in line. It is almost worth the entire security deposit just to not have to deal with this company again.

bad bad news
I would not recommend this place to anyone. the dishwasher runs for hours and does not clean the dishes, the dryer runs for hours before the clothes are dried, the edges of the hollow core doors are not finished, the baseboards are plastic which reminds you of an office building Plus they are so poorly installed that it does not go around the entire wall there are gaps in the corners. the Inside surface of the cupboards are not finished either so there's no way to clean them. Good thing you... don't have to pay for heat since you can see light around the outside door. A two car garage?? In what world?? We were told the place would be professionally cleaned but still found drywall dust and construction debris under appliances and glue on the hard to clean flooring. The building manager would rarely answer request or questions without multiple tries. If you think the rent is high wait, because they have a special surprise for you, an additional bill of approximately $25.00 every month for trash removal maintenance and lighting that shines in your window all night long. The grassy areas around the building have more bare spots rocks and weeds then grass The weeds grew so big around the plants they were bigger than the plants. Spare yourself the headaches we experienced and move on down the road. If I could give no stars for this property I would.
