I relocated to Wisconsin from West Virginia in November- I must say the Windward cove properties are amazing! It’s very quiet and safe, the apartment was very clean and in great shape when we moved in. The neighbors are very friendly but are also very respectful of your space. I have a one car garage (about 50-100 foot away from the apartment) is very spacious with plenty of room for storage in front of my car. There is also great storage space within the apartment- 3 closet’s not counting the... walk-in master closet. But the best part about this location is the property management!! They’re friendly and fast to response to questions or issues with the apartments. You really couldn’t ask for a better property.

Great apartment complex
I've lived here for over 6 years now, and I absolutely love it. My unit is great, the building is quiet, and management is responsive to any maintenance requests. The area is safe, tenants are respectful of one another, and the rent is priced fairly. Definitely a comfortable, stress-free place to live.

Decent and mostly quiet, but very little parking
Maintenance sometimes ignores requests. In floor heating is great until something breaks, and it takes forever to get back up from low 50s in the middle of winter.
There is very, very little parking. We have neighbors who have 3-4 vehicles each unit, and their extra vehicles take up the majority of our very tiny lot, when the lot was clearly designed for one car (plus one garage space) per unit. This is very frustrating, especially with multiple adults trying to get to work and when those... extra cars don't ever move.
Cost to go month to month is great (only $15 more).
Our stairwell often smells heavy of cigarette smoke when we don't (and never have) smoked, and the units were advertised and rented to us as smoke-free.

We appreciate constructive feedback from our residents. Our heating systems are hydronic thru the floor which provides for the most comfort possible to our residents because the heat comes up thru the floor. The systems are designed to adjust... slowly to prevent over heating or under heating our residents apartment home. This type of system maximizes the heat comfort. Each Windward Cove Apartment Home has a one or two car detached garage that is included in the rental price. The townhomes have attached garages. We have first come, first served extra parking for one additional vehicle and ample guest parking as well and have not found parking to be an issue on the property. We regularly monitor vehicles on the property to make sure they belong there, have current registration and are operable as is required by our lease agreements. Our property is NOT a Non-Smoking Property, however, it is a great suggestion we consider offering that option in select buildings. We emphasize to all tenants the need to report maintenance concerns as soon as they are identified. Our full time staff is ready to take care of all our tenants maintenance concerns. Great apartment complex
I had lived in the complex for over two years. During those two years I had a great experience. The residents and staff were all very friendly and helpful. Whenever a maintenance issue occurred in our apartment the staff was responsive and fixed the issue within a day. Highly recommend.

Overpriced
I have lived here for 4 years now. Although the on site manager is nice and helpful maintenance is a total joke. Repairs take forever and routine maintenance is practically nonexistent. There are two main maintenance people that care for the property and one is under qualified while the other blames tenants for anything needing repairs. I have discussed this with other renters and it seems that everyone has the same complaints. Regardless of how well your maintain your property or if you pay... your rent in advance everyone is treated poorly when it comes to routine maintenance. Also, the leases are a total joke as they have an extended period each year during which you cannot move out meaning that regardless of your year long lease you are told it will be extended numerous months because they don't allow move outs during certain months. Overall the units are clean and the location is nice but be prepared to pay way too much in rent and do most of the maintenance yourself. As the owner lives in California, little to no care seems to be given to the opinions of the renters. Neighbors are helpful and often assist each other with maintenance as the maintenance department usually takes too long due to lack of knowledge or concern. Would not reccomend these units to future renters.
