Old building, Old Landlord.... not always the best combination
I have been living here for 2 years and 2 months to be exact. And frankly, if it wasn't for the cheap rent I would have done a huge mistake. I live in a decent size, old and restrictive apartment. Restrictive, yes, the reason being mostly because of our landlord. Who really is a nice guy once you start talking to him, but if you live above him like I do. Nice is just another word. Location is great, rent is great... why would I be so negative in such a prime spot? Well, you haven't been... asked yet by your nice landlord to change the way you walk. I thought that being a tell sign that this would be hard, but I went with it, thought nothings is perfect, I can deal with a cup half full. My mistake. This gentleman Always finds a new way to cause trouble. Right now, the new thing is that we are not allowed ac. I have just been informed today, after I had it installed for 2 months. The main reason... Gentleman can't sleep at night. After he realized his sleep was "deprived" because it's too loud, he came with millions of excuses to not let me have it... our past neighbor had it for 1 year, I didn't see them taking it off until they left.
In all, this location is amazing! Awesome restaurants two streets away in Sawtelle. Banks, supermarkets, Ana Walt and much more in a 2 mile radius. We are also on block away from Landmark theaters. if it wasn't for the management, this would be a dream come true.
