This last year @Clarington has been a mess. The building has been under significant construction so we haven't been able to use the gym/pool (pool was briefly re-opened after the summer). We're frustrated that we signed a lease for a building with these facilities at a higher cost than a building without them, and then didn't get to use the facilities...but we did get to keep paying that high cost!
In addition, for the last month, my husband has been woken up by a repetitive deep thrum. At 4 AM... today we tracked it down to the elevator operation room 2 floors away. Note, our elevator is 6 months behind it's inspection.
I understand renovations always take longer than planned, and I'm not upset the hallways are a mishmash of finished and unfinished painting or that some hallway floors are completely unfinished. I was even okay with our elevator being behind inspection - I'll take the long way out of the building!
With renos it gets worse before it gets better BUT I am upset about paying for facilities I don't have access to, and after a month with poor quality sleep due to the elevator my patience is gone.

While we understand that you are frustrated, there are unfortunately some things that we as a management team cannot affect, and one of them is the... construction schedule. Unfortunately this has left us without access to some of the amenties, but we assure you that we are doing everything we can to make them available again as soon as possible. Great Building
It's a pretty spacious unit. The building itself is usually kept clean. The staff is always wonderful and helpful. There is always someone on the premises, the porters are always working very hard. There is even overnight security! It is centrally located within walking distance to great restaurants, bars, and cafes. The pool is great and the fitness center is a nice touch. With all the high-priced, extravagant loft-type buildings popping up everywhere, it's nice to live in a welcoming, warm... place. I just hope rent doesn't skyrocket.

best place to live ever
I had been wanting to live in this apartment for a long time, and finally moved into the apartment last May. My experience with the apartment is not quite long, but I'm very satisfied with everything (cleanliness, maintenance, mailing service, facilities such as public pool, fitness center, etc.) I feel safe and comfortable here, and it's very cozy and snug inside the room. It's the best place to live ever and I'm looking forward to living in the apartment for coming days.
