Maintenance staff was nice and friendly. BUT! if you want quiet night of sleep or any assistance from management - don't move!
1) Lived in the tower block 47 (main block facing the office), had very loud neighbours (yes, multiple) all around, partying, shouting and making loud noises throughout the night and early morning hours all year round, no one did anything. And most importantly, had a next door neighbour that was literally shouting, signing and screaming THROUGHOUT EVERY SINGLE NIGHT... (have recording proofs) of our multi-year residency at the property, NO ONE DID ANYTHING, nor security nor management bothered to help us, got completely ignored our complaints even though we had proof. Due to that, we were mentally scared, were forced to move out of the bedroom and sleep in the lounge area throughout the whole period we lived there...
2) Another example of ignorance: fridge broke, had to throw away $100 worth of food, been told we will be reimbursed but literally our emails got fully ignored once we provided the receipts, after dozens of pings nothing happened...
Overall, good place, however, the above examples, especially the loud next door neighbour and unwillingness from management to help, left us scared and sadly would never move back or recommend anyone to live there..

do not live here
i have never encountered somewhere as dysfunctional as this building, my apartment fully flooded i had los angeles biggest waterfall in my kitchen and it fully took them an hour to come and stop the water and then a month to renovate it they had to put us somewhere else as they did it and we had to move three times because they kept putting us in units with issues. the apartment itself was so old and so gross they only care about money and not their tenants

Disappointed
There is so much to explain; but enough characters. First, the apartment i rented I was not able to view. The day it became available I inquired and before the day was out someone had already paid to hold it and I thought I had missed out. But, from what I thought was a sign, that person had withdrew and the leasing agent contacted me to let me know it had opened and I would need to act quickly. I thought the stars had aligned. This is where the story will take a turn. The apartment was old,... older than I realized. Nothing like the the models, in my opinion. The only updated thing in my place was the fridge and stove and those could’ve been dated to the 90s or early 00s. The bathroom was small and even though I am big & tall even my smaller friends expressed amazement at how small it was especially because the space itself was so large for what my rent was. And it was extremely dated; the toilet was so small. And there was no storage in the bathroom, beside the medicine cabinet. Also my apt was equipped with a shower stall no tub; honestly that was fine but the stall needs lighting. I lived in a main floor apartment and encountered roaches on move-in day. 2 were about the length of a matchstick while I also saw several small roaches on the same day. All were dead! But this would not be the last I would see of them. On that first day; I made a vow to never cook in my place because the sight of roaches made me feel disgusted. I killed well over 10 roaches in my apartment and I’m a clean person. All my food was taken to the trash chute. I never threw open containers in my apt trash. I’ve read (after I moved in) that the roach thing is hit or miss at here and that is frankly unacceptable. They were in the hallways, crawling out of the trash chute before they closed them down, and in the basement. I would come home they would be on my front door. It made living there hellscape for me. Even after getting an exterminator; I still had the critters. I used to believe the maintenance team was very responsive until by unit lost power and took them 5 days to fix. FIVE, no compensation-nothing. I had to pull out my lease and email that they were violating the lease agreement which at the time stated the apt must be “liveable”. And for 5 days it was not! Ultimately; I would never recommend this place to the next person.

Steamcleaning schedule never happened.
This place was great until they did me dirty. Heater went out when it got the coldest. It leaked a dirty brown water, staining the carpet in my bedroom.
They fixed the heater and scheduled a steam cleaning of my room the following Wed, asking me to move all my stuff out. Which i did, all in my living room. Well, its Friday now, no steam cleaning done, my bedroom things are all in my living room for several days now. Super inconvenient since I have a roomate. I've been calling each day to... maintenance and still, no go... One of the worst experiences of life.

No Longer a Good Place To Live - Aging Buildings, No Parking, Price Gouging
Positives: Quiet
Negatives: -There is zero parking after 7 pm. When you finally have to purchase a $75+ spot, the parking office is completely unhelpful. Richard in the parking office is exceedingly rude.
- Have seen rats in the basement and a few cockroaches in my apartment. Even after Management send someone from Terminex to spray and inspect. Basement dumpsters are constantly overflowing.
-Washing machines are continuously broken.
-Mail and packages are stolen
-Using the pool and gym... costs $40+ a month. The pool is rarely occupied yet they charge you $15 a person to bring a friend. There are ads for kid free times on the website but there don't seem to be any.
Overall: Perhaps it was once a nice place to live but no longer. I cannot wait for this lease to end. It makes sense that so many people I know have lived here for just one year when they move to LA then immediately find somewhere else to reside.
