great location, poor building maintanence, watch out for winter months

I lived here for 4 years. The location is great, but the building has terrible heating system and poor upkeep. Be prepared to spend over $230/month on electricity in winter and still be uncomfortably cold. The apartment manager recommended heating lamps to avoid the electricity bill. Also, condensation builds up and some tenants indicated mold. I didn't have any, but the windows fogged and towels never dried. I was told to use a dehumidifier. In the summer, my apt turned into an over and it was... hard to sleep. Also, when I moved out, I was told verbally by the manager that I did not need to clean the windows and carpets after 4 years, but got charged over $500 out of my deposit. Great location, but lack of comfort.
