Unsafe, Greedy Staff

The buildings are okay, semi maintained, in a not so nice area. The company uses its “gate” as a way to advertise that even if the area isn’t great you don’t have to worry about it.

The rent has gone up 23% in 2 years. The apartment complex has managed to turn that extra profit into a new set of lawn furniture for the residents. What the residents have requested is simple cameras to deter the continuous break-ins and robberies that have infested this complex since we moved in.

Our vehicles and...
property have been broken into 7 times in 2 years. All after the gate was closed. After a few of them management hire “rentacops” that randomly patrol for 5 minutes every 4 hours. The only thing these security guards have done is assault me as i walked from my car to my doorway.

Again, we asked for cameras so that we could atleast make sure that the people committing the break ins weren’t members of the community and to create some peace of mind because the break ins escalated up to a car being stolen out of the driveway. Again, after the gates are closed, and management said “im sorry that happened to you we aren’t providing additional security measures at the complex”

So don’t move here. They will continue to raise your rent year over year, and they will do nothing to improve the lives or living situations of their residents in the process.

Property Manager at Allure responded to this review

We apologize for your frustration. We have not been notified about the incident you mentioned regarding our courtesy patrol, and we’re eager to learn more. We invite you to contact our Community Manager and office team. While we can’t guarantee the... security of residents’ vehicles, our courtesy patrol does have a presence in the community several times per night, and they cover the whole community.

We’re glad to report that there have been several upgrades including new pool furniture, an upgraded pool fountain, mail hut, and enhancements to the fire pit, the pool deck, and the grill. We’ve also added a dog park for our resident pets.

We look forward to speaking with you, and we’ll do all we can to turn your experience around. - SRG Residential Customer Care (customercare@sares-regis.com)

Allure, The Good, The Bad, and The Dangerous

The Good: Allure has nicely designed and modern apartments, plenty of parking, and the option to rent a garage. The prices are somewhat high, you can get the same sized apartment in Cherry Creek for just about the same cost, and units having their own laundry set up. Lawns are key clean and green and the grounds crew and maintenance do a phenomenal job.

The Bad: Rents raise on average 100-150 a year since my residency here started, slightly higher than the market dictates. There are constant...
break ins into mailboxes, causing residents to drive 20 minutes out into the middle of Aurora to get their mail, and packages being stolen left and right is now a commonality among residents. Staff at the font office seem not to care.

The Ugly: Residents have had cars broken into at night, a police officer chased a man in his car through the apartment parking lots this past weekend, and I've personally caught several people simply driving around and looking into car windows at 4am (I get up early to workout). The lack of action put into place by Allure to protect and mitigate crime is simply abysmal. They rather pay someone 15$/hr to spin a sign up on the corner of tcautionary deterrents for crime inside the gates. If you care about your safety, personal belongings, or life in general not being constantly interrupted by missing packages, broken car windows, and other petty crimes, then Allure is not for you.

NO TO ALLURE

When echelon property group bought Devon Square and became Allure Apartments it went down hill. Especially with the grounds, cockroach infestations, dirty neighbors leaving trash on balconies, dog poop all over the side walk & grass, loud neighbors, crackheads smoking crack pipes in the middle of the day out on the lawn, people trying to break in, trash all over the place and a nightmare of a place to live especially for what they charge. They let anyone live there. There is also gang violence... in the area that when you call police because someone is trying to break into your place it takes 30-45 minutes to arrive since they are overwhelmed with gangs in the area. The security company for the complex is lazy as well and the Cherry Creek School's Assigned to the complex is horrible especially the middle that has over 1800 kids that are out of control. The security gates break all the time or the surrounding Residents from other complexes break the gates cutting through the complex. South Willow Street is 25 MPH & crazy people drive past the school bus stop sign when kids get off the bus and they drive way too fast down that road and homeless people have been camping out on that street including drug addicts. I would not recommend living at Allure nor in that neighborhood. Also don't leave your cars parked along South Willow Street, they get hit, parts stolen off cars, looks like a neighborhood in Compton, CA They Honestly Don't Even Deserve The 1 Star They Are Getting. Allure they definitely stand up to the name by luring you in to a nightmare disguised as a nice renovated place. They will bug fog a place with infestations, renovated the next day & then let people move in 2 days later.

GREAT place to live:

Lisa is wonderful we known each other for over 30 years and I followed her from the apartment she managed to this one. These apartments are big and spacey the rent is just right for now a day. They are centrally located and you can find anything close by. Anything that needs to be fixed, is done right away, their handy-man Jack, he is so nice and get things done. I been living at these apartments for over 10 years. I would recommend anyone to live here you will enjoy it.

Amazing!!!

Lisa and Norma are amazing! They have always called us by name and knew our apartment number without having to be reminded. Anytime a request was put in for anything in the apartment, it was handled either that day or the next. Hands down the best customer service and hospitality I've ever had in a renting experience. The 2 years I lived there were hassle free. The rent increases were pretty mild compared to other properties in the past. It was a little hard to leave when we bought a house... because they were so good to us. I highly recommend renting here. You won't find an apartment with this size and neatness for the price.
